Do people actually make a decision about whether they will enjoy a game or not on a sliver of concept art? I honestly can't comprehend such a thing.

2) David has always had good oppinions on games, so it'll be interesting to see what he does with his own.

3) It looks friggin sweet!

Group hug everyone.

Well, yeah, the character looks damned sweet - now if you can animate him smoothly it would earn you a gazillion kudos.

The house... is a really nice idea, looks like some effort went into it, but it seriously needs some shading and work on on the grey parts, some anti-aliasing for the lines couldn't hurt either, really, it's just a background picture anyway right?

'Ere we go then:

Shading, antialiasing and fine tuning was scheduled for today. Tomorrow, it's clouds, little pavement-like thingy that runs around the house, mountains and forest edge on the background, textures on the chimneys, etc. etc.

Clucking bell, this shit's difficult to do. Good thing that it's mostly interior decoration after I'm done with this.

Don't forget about the gargoyles, chimeras and exterior arabesques. biggrin.gif

And I expect to see some frescos in the ball room.

Reminds me of a kind of cross between Moue, Obier and Rosso from Broken Sword. The drawing style is very Revolution-esque.

You wouldn't build that kind of mansion without them and some black iron gates and fences, now would you?

My very first necropost, yay.
I started working on something else, this time with AGS. Here's one of the protagonists in all his not-very-well-shaded glory:

Whatcha think?

This is pretty cool. I like the lineart. However, I think there's more that can be done in the way of adding realism and ambiance, and using far fewer colors at that. If I might be so bold:
