Yeah it looks pretty in place to me

Only if his torso was bend over a little more, I'd say. His straight upper posture is too much of a contrast to the shuffling limbs.

Yeah, I was going to point out like HMC that he should raise his feet more, but by the sounds of things you've spent way too much time on this already.
And of course I'm also hesitant to criticise at all as you're vastly better at this spriting thing that I am.
Oh God I almost typed 'infinitesimally better'. That word doesn't mean what I thought it meant. Now I shudder to think how many times I have offended someone inadvertantly through my ignorance...

We... construc- oh hell he's right, we didn't use nearly enough insults.
Do we have to turn in our fullyramblomatic-credentials now?

I think he meant that female protagonist that you mentioned. Pipe, monocle and other cross-dressing accessoires.

Was he?
His use of the male pronoun was a bit misleading.

He needs a pipe and a monocle

OK buckos, here's Sophie (hope it's big enough to see):
Might not seem much, but I'm proud of it because it was modelled after a close friend of mine who couldn't be present at the modelling process so I had to do it from my head. Common acquaintances of ours immediately recognized her, even in such a low-res picture, because this I-want-to-seem-strong-although-I-am-not posture is very characteristic of her.
Fuck, it's not big enough. Well, zoom in till the sprite is about 2-3 inches tall.
