One game you would like a critique on..... No matter how much you think it is "the shits and chips" it is.

This will be reviewed (if nintendo axes mario which I absolutely happen to love eregardless of the liqashit based dirivitive (notice I cannot spell even with a spellchecker) which I also happen love).

My Favorite pick would probably be:

A) Kingdom hearts (2 just to screw him over more devil.gif )

OR

Q) Dark cloud (1 or 2)

C) Super Smash Brothers Mele/Brawl when it comes out

And a pick for him to review regardless:

A) Geometry Wars (which I also happen to like but alas have no 360)

Q) Persona 3

OR

C) DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3

And your choices?

(STUPID SMILIES!!)

Well if I'm allowed to go far far beyond the realm of the possible, I would like to see a Warhawk review just to hear him bash the existence of multiplayer and the stupidity of the average online player in glorious four-minute-long detail. And as an avid fan of the Armored Core series I would of course love to see any of those games torn into small pieces. I would also be quite interested in his take on the Ratchet and Clank games.
When in doubt, plead sarcasm.

I am familiar with both of those last 2 games (I cannot play Armored core for the life of me) and I just occurred to me that Oblivion would be an interesting one to see with the way he was going about fable XD.

Persona 3 would be interesting to see him reacting to the fact that you have to kill yourself with a gun shaped weapon to attack anything....

Not to mention FFT would be nice to see since that is an exception (I think) to the JRPG trend that he seems to observe... That and FF6 XD

OR A DS GAME!

EDIT: Im surprised no one has made this sooner with our Fandom towards Mr. Whatever he calls himself now.... Clearly im not good with names....

I have a feeling No More Heroes will be reviewed. I'm just hoping the new Star Wars game won't because there's too many of them.

The reason no-one else has made this thread previously, is that Yahtzee point blank refuses to do requests. If he reviews a game that he was requested to review, it will most likely be coincidence. Most of the decisions aren't up to him anyway, The Escapist Magazine chooses the game, unless there's something he really wants to play. In which case, he has to negotiate with The Escapist, and he won't want to do that too often.

I want to see what he thinks about Final Fantasy VI, having being one of those jrpg's he apparently hates so much yet having stolen quite abit of music from it for his Rob Blanc games. I could say the same for FFVII but i like FFVI better. I highly doubt this will ever happen though because theyre old games.

It would be pointless for him to review a FF game because I can already tell you what he would say. That is that he hates JRPG's, androgynous spiky haired characters, loathes turn based combat and finds the games in general to be as exciting as excel spread sheets.

The best game I've ever played would be the dawn of war series and its expansions don’t think I'd want to see Yathzee review it however he's never reviewed an RTS before and he probably doesn’t play them. Also he would probably consider lots of expansion packs to be in the same vain as pointless sequels. Shame really because it is the undisputed king of RTS games.

I wish Yahtzee would review my game because I think it is good and I want to see if Yahtzee also thinks it is good, or if he has the opposite opinion, which would be that it is bad.

I do think soon the escapist might be wanting him to do CC3 (an obvious choice really when speaking of RTSs)

I know Yathzee does reviews of games that have been out for a while but I still don’t see him reviewing CC3 this long after its release. Also I don’t think it’s as good as the Dawn of War series in any case.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars'd make a nice review, if he did do requests.
Despite the fact that it's built for multiplayer, I can only imagine it'd make it all the funnier to see his take on it.

To be fair, though, I like how he doesn't do requests. It keeps people guessing wink.gif

I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.
