Use some fucking capitalization and punctuation and then we'll talk about respecting your opinion. This isn't a chatroom, you dirty bum.

Back on the original topic, I'm pretty sure the game isn't going to be made. At least not in this decade. I took a gander over at the forums, and they still haven't gotten the overall planning down. I thought this was a great idea since I first heard about it (pfft, like two years ago), but I honestly don't think it's going to get made. And it breaks my god damn heart.

Just to get off topic here, that is an absolute crappy way to judge people. I mean seriously, look at some of the other people here. TruJade has that weird song prose going on, but no one cares. And that one person I can't remember misspells stuff a-constantly, but again, no one cares. Just because this dude doesn't capitalize doesn't mean he's stupid. Stop being such a grammar Nazi.

Back on topic, um... I don't have a copy of Halo, and I don't plan on getting one, so I can't really say much...

We carry a harpoon
But there ain't no whales so we tell tall tales
And sing a whaling tune

Halo DID have nice hypertexturing. That's about as much praise as I can give it. xD

And looking through, Sniffles, I have to say I agree with you. Ignoring the initial spaz when I saw it took a day or two, hehe, but it is dissapointing that it were canned.

Smashed up my sanity.
Smashed up my integrity.
Smashed up what I believed in,
Smashed up what's left of me.
Smashed up my everything,
Smashed up all I thought was true,
'gonna smash myself to pieces,
I don't know what else to do.

Well, I'm going to be an optimist for once (god forbid) and say the show ain't over 'till the fat lady sings. In other words I'm not going to regard the 5DAS remake as canned until Yahtzee himself tells us we'd have a better chance of getting a blowjob from Phyllis Diller. Because after looking on YouTube I found a homemade CGI vid of a scene from Trilby's Notes, apparently done by a member of this very forum (you know who you are) and it was farking awesome. I would quite happily light a politician on fire just to see the Tall Man and the Welder in full and glorious 3D.

Although I may light a politician on fire anyway. That's my good deed for the day.

Also, directed at some of the predominantly pissy previous posts pertaining to my particular point of view. I don't recall ever saying that you weren't entitled to your opinions; you're quite free to them. The manner in which you voice them, where you do so and how is however something you should take into account before making them known. I stand by my statement. Thank you to both Jenx and Joey; you guys know the score.

Now get out of the musician's pit. Wagnerian sopranos are terrifying up close.
I'm not pessimistic; I've just realised that the light at the end of the tunnel is an incoming train.

Yeah, the Tall Man in 3d would look sweet. Especially if he was in some kind of cool light filter with blood on his gloves or something...

Zelda: the orcarnia (or however the hell you spell it) of time

It creeped me beyond by belief by travailing 10 years into the future with some creapy old dude from a butterfly paradise into a silent hill game (from the looks of it and have never played) to have the ex-local populis only to eat at me like dirty hermetic nerds eat McDonalds after flinging themselves at my back, raping me if I so much as looked at them! But then again I was only turning 8 at the time....

For shame with your wrong-thread-postingyness.

Anyway.

Someone should spend some time and rather than a whole scene, just make a render of the Tall Man, and -really- take their time over it.
Even though he doesn't seem too complicated to model, there's his coat and all the detail on that.
I don't have a damn clue where to begin modeling or texturing something like that, but I'm sure someone has the tools and ability somewhere.

The tall man shouldn’t be too hard; I mean he doesn’t even have a FACE...

So you wouldn't have to model a face. But making his coat and more importantly - getting textures that don't look like plastic is gonna be some work as well.

Personally I like the "idea" behind that 3D video, but it was very badly made.

Even though I clearly stated on the description that I didn't make that video, I sometimes get people talking to me on youtube like I made it.
