I found this today: http://hcsoftware.so...ge.net/passage/

It could fit on a floppy disk and takes just about five minutes to play it through. It's only about 100 pixels tall. It's remarkably in depth in terms of, well, everything. It's a game, and it's art. It makes a statement that is both simple and complex. Check it out. You won't regret it.

Aw, that's sweet. A well spent 3 minutes of my time.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

What happens if you do regret it? Because I kinda want my four minutes back.

I played it quite a few weeks ago. Interesting message, and a different way to convey said message I'm sure - but it didn't interest me all that much. Really creative idea, though.

You need to get some help if that four minutes was important enough for you to want it back because you didn't like the game. tongue.gif

It could hardly be classified as a game.

Really? I worked it twice over and only got 660 on my second run.

Valuable life lessons learned:
- Life is short. 100 pixels short.
- While the girl of your dreams may well be that, she'll make sure you collectivly can't get through tight spaces.
- Huge bags of gems don't alter your score so much as lots of walking.
- Sometimes, life is like walking in a straight line. Sometimes, its like 500million boxes are in your way, and you have to keep backtracking to make any headway.
- How long ahs that packet of crisps been sitting on that pile of magazines?
- Hungry.
When you lose your calm, you feed your anger.

Really, the point of the game is that the score doesn't matter. You can see the creator's statement at http://hcsoftware.so.../statement.html.

Having said that, tips for getting a high score:
1. Ditch the wife. She'll just slow you down.
2. I haven't figured out which treasure chests contain points, but there's supposedly a pattern depending on the colors of the box.
3. Go for chests, but don't try too hard because some are impossible. The south has more chests and obstacles, and the north is just clear walking.

He's made another game. This one has more gameplay than Passage, but there's still the depressing feeling that at the end that your score is just a number when the game (your life?) is over. http://hcsoftware.so...et/gravitation/

I couldn't play this one more than a couple of times. I think it's even more depressing.
