Ohhh puh-leeease
It wasn't about winning
it's plainly the fact that you have no compassion for
someone that made a terrible and embarrassing mistake
thus you take it out on anyone associated with them who is trying to move on.

Let me quote Despondent if I may.

QUOTE (Despondent @ Jan 18 2008, 06:33 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Clinton lobbed the bombs to take the story away from his scandal. It happened the same day he testified.

And Lewinski wasn't the first. The only reason her name ever came up was with testimony regarding the Paula Jones trial. Remember her? Or Juanita Broderick? Or Kathleen Willey? Just a few of the women Clinton has used and reduced to "bimbo" status, all while Hillary stood by and allowed it to happen?

It seems to me that he did more then one mistake.

QUOTE (TruJade @ Jan 18 2008, 07:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Honestly it truely doesn't make sense why you hate Clinto so much

Clinto? We had an understanding! We goes on in Bizarro World, stays in Bizarro World.

QUOTE (TruJade @ Jan 18 2008, 07:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
If you wanna be ignorant and completely narrow-minded
then be that way we can continue this arguement for as long as you wish
obvious you are the only one who is keeping score
and yes i meant worse as in quality

Why are you taking the truth so personally? Are you one of his fans? Is that it? Is that why you take criticism against him so personally? If that is the case, then you are ignorant and narrow-minded for dismissing all mistakes by Clinton as unimportant.

Despondent: No, it's actually a cultural double standard that men can sleep around and get away with it. And I don't see how someone who apparently doesn't sleep around and cheat on her husband should be called a bimbo. It's typical Republican mantra to blame everything on the Democrats.

And I have seen FOX news. I don't watch it very often because it's so idiotic, but I'm not the type of person to spout off claims without knowing anything about it. I honestly don't know of any crazy-Left people, though I'm sure they exist and I'd hate them, too. The last time I watched CNN, they were running some idiot opinion show where some guy spent the whole time making fun of some South American leader, and trying to punctuate how super awesome and great the United States was between every sentence. I try to stick to written news, where I'm not forced to sit through hearing about how Britany Spears is fucking up her life and those of her children, and where things aren't made to be sensationalized and entertaining for the morons.

As for CNN, I don't watch it. As for Fox News Network, I only got it to see the Republicans debate last week.
Fox News Sunday is a legitimate News show, and it airs on the Fox Network. I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a Britney story on television.

But those are just selective examples. So I suppose that makes me an Elitist. tongue.gif

Trust me, Slade, there are plenty of Left-wing kooks. I can't believe you actually think you "don't know any crazy-Left people." I didn't realize you were so left wing as to think that left-wing extremists aren't as crazy as right-wing extremists.

You are entirely misunderstanding me. I'm not saying that they don't exist, just that I don't know of any, nor do I hear of any. My friends are mostly middling-left if they are concerned with politics at all. I don't know of any celebrities or politicans or other popular figures who are crazy-left. Most of my friends are middling left, I don't often see stories in the news about them, etc. I guess the closest thing to one I actually know is JM. He's rather kooky and can be extreme at times. Other than that, nope. Unless you somehow know of some friend I have that I don't know about, I don't understand where your accusations are coming from. tongue.gif

Ah, Slade, my mistake - you meant, know, as in like, personally. I thought you meant like, know at all, like, knowing of someone etc.
As far as knowing personally, I don't know any one that I'd consider crazy for either direction. A little gung-ho about certain issues, sure, but when it comes right down to it, all they do is talk; they'd never actually do anything about whichever issue it is they think they're so knowledgeable and right about. But I know more of those for the left than the right, but that's probably just because of my particular friend pool.

Snake: Do some research. left wing is ideally progressive, right wing is conservative.

Spoon: I'm glad we cleared that up.

Left wing panders to the disenfranchised. Right wing appeals to the optimistic who yearn to improve themselves.

Economics

Right Wing: Less government, less spending, less taxes

Left Wing: More funding in programs, more spending therefore more taxes, more government involvement

Social

Right Wing: No gay marriage, No abortions, No stem cell research

Left Wing: Civil Unions, Yes to abortions, not sure they're stance on stem cells

I'm for less government in many areas but am also FOR increased spending in healthcare and welfare. I'm for gay marriage, for abortions, and for stem cell research. (read stim cell)

No i am not a Clinty fan
i just think they guy deserves a brake
he may have been terribly insensitive to
his family and his duty to the country
but what has that got to do will Hilary?

To be honest, I forgot all about Paula Jones
and didn't even know about the others.

but its mainly the way you attack Hillary over Bill's many mistakes that piss me off
It takes alot to forgive someone for their adulterous ways
and it really seems like you have no compassion for Hilary.
And she has to deal with the other candiates rehashing the past
in her fight to be president.

Honestly i would have left his ass but
im told thats the easy way out or something.
Regardless of what you think about me
If you could at least think of Hilary as her own person
making her own choices would
you still be as aggressive in your attack

Bill's mistakes are unimportant. Is he running for president ?
No, so you're taking all the hate out on the missus.

Do you hate everything Clinton?
What about their daughter Chelsea?
Does that mean you hate Al Gore too?

Break Down of his logic

A. Bill Clinton Lied under oath, he is guilty of perjury

B. Bill Clinton is prone to corruption (assumption)

C. Hilary Clinton is President

D. Hilary is in wedlock with Bill

E. Point B will continue to be true during Hilary's time in office (the assumption point)

F. Therefore, Hilary must deal with Bill's affinity for corruption

G. Hilary's duty to her family will cloud her judgment and skewer the line between right and wrong

H. In conclusion, Hilary is deemed unfit to take office, because Bill is predisposed to do wrong.

cough

I have no compassion for Hillary because she is either emotionally attached to Bill, a corrupt adulterer, or because she is with him for money.

Just so we are clear
she would be unfit as a leader

it has nothing to do with her
