My mate Paul is a director... we're in the middle of making a film at the moment. I might ask him if we could do a small trailer based on 5DAS when we're done, to see if it might go anywhere.
If Blood Tales does well enough our film crew might actually get some attention happy.gif.
We had a 20k budget for it, and if it comes out alright, we've been told we can have more to do more films.

o.o

The more I think about it the more and more it seems like a good idea.

Smashed up my sanity.
Smashed up my integrity.
Smashed up what I believed in,
Smashed up what's left of me.
Smashed up my everything,
Smashed up all I thought was true,
'gonna smash myself to pieces,
I don't know what else to do.

A good trailer is a much better idea (and "film" overall) than a bad complete fill. I mean, just watch all the shock n' awe "Grayson" caused back in the day, and it was a god damned TRAILER!!!

Just read over your script, Dannysaysnoo. First impressions are pretty favourable- seems to stick closely enough to the game (which'll please the fans), nothing which sounds as dire as the "Tribly" film was. Few minor niggles, the stage direction near the start of Scene 1 (*Trilby steps away from the door, and puts his face in his hands. As he does, the door opens very slowly.*) seems a bit strange. I'm not sure how this'll work, will seem a little bit scripted if that makes sense. Might be better if you just had him step back and look at the outside of the house, as if he's choosing a way in. Or maybe not, if you can think of another thing to do. Just a suggestion.

Ninja Duck - I know, but i have an Indian guy set up to be a complete scaredy when John comes a killing.

Also, the reason i did that bit with the lock picks is mainly setting up a great scene with Jim and Trilby.

The reason it is so faithful to the game is that i have been sitting down and copying some of it word for word.

I have to agree about the girl thing. The female character does add to it in her own way. I'm not sure it would be quite right wih Simon instead of Simone, but I shall let it go for now, but if it's noticeable at the end, remember that I said it... second...

Unfortunately, since i don't have skeleton or equipment to make it float, part of the costume may include heavy clothes, like a trench coat, as well as the standard.

The final part of the film may be done redubbed, as i may be portraying one of the early DeFoes.

Um...that's so...er...

Does anyone think that the original music worked pretty well though? 5DAS really had great music.

At least in the beginning when Tribly is doing fuck all for 3 minutes. It doesn't work to have it going nonstop.

Aw...stops after one day, doesn't get to stick the bear in the salt or demonstrate the importance of forethought...and he never examines the doors.

My demonstration of forethought will be a paperclip in the tie.

Also, this bear doesn't taste that great, pass the salt.

I didnt like how they said "contact" instead of fence, the slang made it all the more sophisticated. And theyre driving on the right hand side of the road too, they couldve atleast flipped the footage so it looks like theyre driving on the left.

Dont forget the mask

I closed that thing after I heard the guy say Tribly. For fuck's sake.

Oh, and at the end of July snow is a rare sight, even in England.

I nearly did, but I persevered feeling really embarrassed all the way through. They all sucked, and Jim was a fat kid. And why the hell would "Tibly" go into the fridge as soon as he got there and take a can of Coke out of the dispenser? But at least fat Jim said "Mr Trilby" near the end. It was truly retarded though...

Americans? Although there's not much difference I've found....
I closed it after the "tribly" bit.
He's a BRITISH gentleman thief.
And as such, we british are the only ones fit to play such a man.
By the way, I got the go-ahead to do a trailer or first scene in a few months time. Hopefully Dannysaysnoo will do it right, but hey, maybe having several versions will be a good thing.
