Such surveillance wont work, terrorists will always find a way. I have an idea of how to remove America from the terrorists’ to do list.

1. Stop interfering with other countries.
2. Stop accepting refugees from countries which America has already interfered with.

NY primaries are today. I must vote against Clinton, and I sincerely hope they let me.

Same shit, different leader. Whichever one wins, they're pretty much going to do the same thing anyway. They always do.

So you're a bigot and/or have terrible taste in humor. Fantastic.

Oh great. Personally, I think some lib dreamed that one up under the convenience of impunity.

My wife and I finally decided who to vote for this morning. We had 3 or 4 choices based on differing strategies, but we decidedly chose to vote together- Ain't democracy great?

I hope the guy they do elect turns out to be gay, just for the sake of spite.

The left wing doesn't need to slander the right wing. The right incriminates itself rather effortlessly. And as far as left politicians are concerned, they're either laughed at too much to get anything done, or they sit with their thumbs up their rears and do nothing on purpose.

Democracy's a great idea, but it requires an intelligent and informed public, so it fails miserably in practice. Just gotta do the best I can until something better comes along, I'm afraid.

Nearly everything humans do fails in practice when huge numbers of people are involved.

Damn it all to hell, I cannot vote today because I'm not registered in this county since I'm only going to school here and I can't even get in touch with my own county's board. Fuck. Half of my day is ruined.

I don't even make enough money for the IRS to even care enough about me to do anything but take my money. I doubt the government will count me in for that nonsense.

I suppose I could drive home after my job interview later today, and then drive back after I voted, but I'm not sure if my vote for the primaries is really worth five hours in a car this evening.

The democratic process fails, like just about every other governmental system, because they built on the principle that governments either always tell the truth. The Government in my country lies so much about everything, I have simply taken to invert everything they say.

Then vote for Huckabee and his fair tax plan. Abolish the IRS. Too bad he's not electable.

And I was chatting with a Dem friend the other day who is a raised Episcopalian. Like me, he has a respect for Christianity.

"You realize, you're one of those crazy Evangelicals they keep talking about, don't you? (Insert name here), You're a crazy Evangelical!!!" laugh.gif
He wasn't laughing....

... I'm not laughing either, though it's because I don't understand the humor or the context.

More to the point: Blargh, Clinton-bitch won NY. Though she won it by a large enough margin that my one missed vote wouldn't have helped any, so I don't feel badly about missing it yesterday. For someone so flagrantly business as usual who cries now frequent crocodile tears to garner support from vapid soccer moms, it's extra offensive that Clinton's campaign message involves her somehow turning over a new leaf for America. I'm not dumb; I know the last thing she really cares about are the public's opinions, values, and concerns. Granted, given what the public is like, I can't fault her too much there except as a liar to garner votes. tongue.gif
