Citizens of the internet were shocked today to learn that the status quo at Jelly Pufflemur has been violently interupted. After months of calm with no articles, author, chef, artist, political activist and international sex symbol J M Hoffman announced that he was interupting his fall-winter hiyatus with another hiyatus.

He claims to be going on vacation for a total of two weeks within the next ten days. This will, tragically, interupt his regular schedule of sitting around and not updating hte site, as he will now be sitting around somewhere else and still not updating the site.

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad vowed to whipe the state of Israel from the face of the earth in response. No word yet on other international reactions as most world leaders are still at Stephen Harper's slumber party. President Bush, who was not invited, had locked himself in a closet with a box of tissues and was not available for comment. More on this story as it develops.
