Walmart "Juinior" Panties Suggest That Your Genitals Are Better Than Credit Cards
Dec 11, 2007

Over at Feministing, a reader noticed these panties in the "juniors" section at the Wal-Mart on Kildare Farms Road in Cary, NC.

While we can't disagree with the strict literal interpretation of the message, perhaps Walmart should consider printing it on a wallet, rather than on panties meant for teenage girls. The whole prostitution angle is clouding the message of fiscal responsibility. Hey, it's just a suggestion.

Well it's official. Seeing as teenage boys don't really have any money this obviously about sleeping with 30 year olds, so can we once for all drop the punishment for statutory rape down to a $12 fine or something, because obviously the rest of society is cool with adult males dating teenagers.

When I was working at WalMart, I had to walk by the children's clothing section to clock in and out. I was always creeped out by the displays with images of very young girls (between 6 and 10) in very suggestive poses. I swear it was a half step away from being softcore porn.

And the clothes that are marketed for kids, too. There are kid clothes out now that's like something I'd wear to a club, if I were trying to pull shallow, sex-obsessed guys. (Which I wouldn't do, so I guess I wouldn't wear those things.)
Oh and bikinis. I saw a bikini this past summer in a size that's about right for 10 year olds.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

It's part of the cunsomerist agenda to make incourage more teen pregnancies to produce more shoppers. Unfortunatley this planet cannot maintain infinite growth, but more about that another time.

I'm less offended about the age thing and more concearned that more girls who use men as ATMs are flooding the population and being encouraged to be proud of it.

I have always been a fan of shirts with words on them
panties too but this is beyond bad

its distasteful and sending a terrible message
i'll just sleep with this guy not

because i love him or i've got nothing else better to do
but he promised me a shopping spree

and a house on in the Hollywood hills
when i finally turn 16

gross

Since everyone will be using sex as currency, the establishment will have less money. Since I don’t want to give hand jobs to middle-aged shop clerks, I will have money. If that is the case, I will be rich and then I can buy prostitutes! It’s a constant cycle of sex and money.

Are those panties made by Wal-Mart?

Blame them. Walmart's my only source of food.

as much as some of you may disagree with me, this isnt really a rant against walmart, per se, but rather a heated discussion regarding "coming of age" amongst adolescents.

in recent years, that coming of age seems to be occuring at an increasingly earlier age all the time. when i was a teen, it was commonplace for some kids to get beat up at the bus stop and to have sex while in high school...whereas now, its become commonplace for mass homicides to occur at school, kids getting killed over senseless reasons, and kids having sex in junior high..sometimes even grade school.

walmart isnt necessarily lowering its standards (well, they sort of are), but what walmart is really doing is coming to realization that many youths have lots of cash to spend, and walmart..just like many other businesses realize that in order for them to lure this business they must cater to their likes.

likes that are heavily influenced by adult swim, mtv, drug use, alcohol. and whatever a lot of todays teens are pursuing. its sad in more ways than one,.decency and good morals are no longer in style as they were back in the 1950's

How is Adult Swim to blame?

Top 40 music is the most logical place to start looking. Every Video is just sex, ass, wriggling, titty wobbling, and some more oiled ass writhing about in slow motion while some blinged out silky sportgear wearing pervert is talking about some girl is going to get it tonight weather she likes it or not. The music's market is pretty much 11-17 year olds. They are having sex pored out on to them because they are vunerable enough to be completely consumed by it.

If anything, shcools are getting shot up because the idiots who fall for that culture are offensive to anyone else.

The schools are generally getting shot up by people who don't buy up that culture. And such events are not "commonplace." But I shouldn't split hairs.

I think young kids are more educated about sex now than say a generation ago, but I'm not really convinced that this sex culture actually makes more kids try it younger. It's still something a good number of kids do, and all the media obsession does is capitalise on an obsession that was there to begin with. Movies about guys who talked about losing their virginity before graduation, didn't, IMO, increase the likelihood that guys would have conversations like that.

Anyway, yeah, these panties are tasteless. I saw some others that said "I have the pussy, so I make the rules," but they were adult-sized so they weren't tasteless. I consider that a fine line.

No less socially innapropriate or immoral than, say, a pair of boxers that read; "I have a cock so do my ironing before I smack you about."

It's just a joke about guys using their natural advantage over women to get what they want in an exploitative manner. Same thing really.

I wouldn't buy those, but I might buy boxers that read "This ain't gonna suck itself."
