Reason I ask is last time I tried to install an independent game on vista, the game could not uninstall properly, and I was stuck with it. Has anyone tested his games on vista yet?

I don't have Vista, but it will work. And you don't need to uninstall it, it's easy enough just to delete it, and that does the trick.

I can tell you point blank that Rob Blanc games don't run on my Vista laptop.

I can confirm that the Chzo Mythos games and 1213 episodes do run on Vista. All the other AGS games should, too.

Anything that's come out since March this years will work on Vista, since it works on my laptop. You may need to run the setup program to set it to 600*480 resolution like I did, but it will work.

Nothing will run on vista since it will automatically put your computer into explosive self-destruct mode as soon as it detects any open-source programs, whatsoever.

Well I know the RON games don't work on XP very well, so I doubt that they'd run on Vista. Though I'm not sure Yahtzee officially claims those anymore, even the one(s) he made.

I'm running 64-bit Vista. So far I've only had the chance to play 5DAS and 7DAS but they both performed perfectly.

There is an option for 3 resolutions in the Rob Blanc versions I've downloaded, I've tried all 3 of them, and all I get is an error about how the application doesn't support fullscreen (the setup menu is a basic Dos one and doesn't have settings for fullscreen). The only way I've got it running on Vista is with Dosbox and the only time I've got it running on XP is without the sound (SoundBlaster just doesn't do it these days).

Maybe those were made with the Dos-based version of AGS? I sort of recall there being one.

Is there an option to run the games windowed? I had to do that for Trilby's Notes to work. If I try running the xDAS games in their original resolution I get that error. Raising the rez or running them windowed fixes it for me.
