Oy!!! Finally came up with a name for a thread for my (and anyone else's) random thoughts, if ya choose to accept this...Anywho, I was reading the Nitpicer's Guide to TPM and I start thining 'What a stupid name Shmi is'...I mean they might have as well called her Smeagol 
...that way Anakin (hereafter referred to in-story by the creepy, post-molestation appellation 'Ani', *shudders*), could be her 'Precious' *raspy voice* 
...That woulda justified her sorta-kinda-maybe-reluctance at letting him leave Tatooine... ...Well, enough of that...I washed the entire two hours of the Star Wars Holiday Special...GOOD STUFF...good stuff, that is, if you enjoy being run over by a van full of Lemurs (the cultic-kind, not the primatish-type), raped by them, and sacrificed to the moon goddess, Hecate...But, I digress...(Back to the story)...While there were some slightly endearing moments with the cast of the OT, the moments were repeatedly brutalized by the poor quality of the script, effects, Real Universe references, etc. ...in ways I wish not to describe, to those who have not seen this travesty...However, I will say that this film totally trumps the PT, mostly because of it's lack of CGI, at least on any scale comparable to that of the PT...I also detected some level of sincerity in the attempts of the actors/actresses...which almost gave me hope, as I never detected this during any scene of the PT...What else is there to say?
