It's actually about $9.90, bub. The US world economy's kinda plummeted miserably in the last few years, meaning the USD isn't worth as much as it used to be. I also just realized I don't know the appropriate term for the concept of currency comparison.

Exchange rate
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

I know that one. I mean the concept that causes the exchange rate to rise and fall. Sorry if I wasn't clear... Yeah, I wasn't. My bad.

British pounds are worth twice as much as USD. That makes for some very careful (and annoying) shopping and budget planning for hopeful future trips.

Well, it works splendidly for us Brits (my good fortune to be in America for a school trip three years ago when it was quite literally £1=$2), but you do have to remember that there's only three days a year here where its both sunny and warm. And apparently we're all dead posh and have horrible teeth. Ey, what what.

In the spirit of the initial purpose of this thread. I am outraged at society. People have become nothing more then cattle.

Oh man, if more people were cattle they'd be more edible. Go society, go!

Customer: "So what's in this 'Beefle' stuff you sell?"
Butcher: "A lotta flavor and a whole lot of heart".

The future is bright indeed.... until Beefle is 10 bucks a pound.

So, does eating each other make us humanitarians?

At least we'd be solving world hunger and overpopulation at the same time.

The city I live in is full of these idiots, these unthinking, selfish human cattle; and one reason I hate them is they'd just as soon screw you over just to get a few bucks. It also amuses me somewhat that a lot of these people are fat.

THIS is why I love being a creepy fucker. Because I can't shotgun, taser or torpedo these jerks; as much as I'd like to.... but there is nothing funnier than watching a hundred and fifty kilo fat woman trip and fall flat on her face down an escalator and take down everyone else on the way; and I was fortunate enough to see that not too long ago when aforementioned blubber compendium told me to give her directions to Kmart and I responded with the biggest, brightest smile I could muster.

All in all I dislike people as a whole. Unless I talk to you and decide you are an exemption, EVERYONE are fat, mindless narcissistic meatbag factories and I want to push you off tall buildings.
I'm not pessimistic; I've just realised that the light at the end of the tunnel is an incoming train.
