nestle strawberry quik

fruity pebbles cereal

cookie crisp cereal

maraschino cherries

microwaveable frozen glazed donuts

hamburger helper lasagna

sloppy joe

chicken pot pies (the cheap ones)

orange sherbet push up pops

chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream between them

(damn..im gettin hungry..must be the kid in me..lol)

I would put peanut butter and jelly in a bowl, mix it up till it was a lovely sticky brown, and eat it with a spoon.

I used to be just about incapable of using pepperoni in a moderate way.

Ah, those afternoons, with a good book, an entire stick of pepperoni by my side and a few hours yet to go...

Heh, I still do that. Except I eat the kind in the package - only Hormel, though. Or Boar's Head sandwich 'ronis. It's the only meat I eat other than chicken... Not a very healthy way to get protein...

YES. Strawberry milk (only from the syrup, not the packaged kind) is the sweet nectar of the gods!

I also get Count Chocula, when I can afford it! Haha. tongue.gif

Cocoa puffs and real chocolate milk made with chocolate syrup (not mixed together, or at the same time), not those silly Quik powders. Props to all of you other people who refuse to call it "Nesquik," though. That name is rubbish.

Also string cheese, pepperoni.

I used to eat the hell out of those gross white sticks that you licked and dipped into the bag of flavored sugar. What were those things called? And why would my mom ever let me eat that much sugar?

Lik-M-Aid.

Strawberry quik for sure. Those frozen flavored ice treats we'd freeze. Quisp. Some peanut butter astronaut food type snack stick. Crunch n Munch. Pringles- when they were new they were wicked awesome. McChicken. Marathon bar (a belt shaped candy bar). White chocolate.

Speaking of Cookie Crisp, I hate how their mascot changed.

When I was a wee lad, I used to eat it all the time (not big on sweets, but the cereal was good). The mascots were the cop and the bungling burglar and dog trying to get their hands on the cereal. Then somewhere down the line, the burglar was removed and it was just the cop and the thieving dog. And now? Just a dog. No hints of larceny.

What the hell? Do we have to sanitize images to the point that the context makes no goddamn sense anymore? What does a dog have to do with cereal or cookies? At least the mascots used to portray the sense that the product was thievingly delicious.

I never got into the monster cereals (how many can you name without help?), but I hated it when they'd change the mascots also. Corn pops was a cowboy, an elephant and a couple other things. Sugar Smacks just became "Smacks", didn't it? They had a frog. Sugar Bear lost his meaning when they likewise removed their number one ingredient from their name.

I nominate the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cereal as the most revolting cereal of all time.

I used to drink Pepsi Twist when it was still around. That stuff was awesome.

Pepsi Twist, for me, was trumped by Pepsi Blue. Loved that stuff.
And yeah, TMNT cereal... Those gross assed green turtle faces. Absolutely horrifying.

I would not so much drink strawberry Quik as I would grab a straw and turn it into a bubbly pink mass of milky delight.

Milk bubbles! Yeeeeee! happy.gif

Did anyone else go absolutely nuts over all those lunchbox snacks? You know, like Fruit Roll-ups, tiny packets of anything chocolate-coated, and fruit snacks of any kind in the shape of cartoon characters? I miss eating those...

Then again, there are some things I can't even stand the thought of now because I had it every single day in my lunchbox. Prime example: Capri Sun. I fucking HATE Capri Sun. I don't think I've touched one since I was ten or eleven, but I can only remember it as nauseating, metallic-tasting swill.

And stabbing a bag full of sticky liquid with a flimsy straw! Yeah, that's always fun! Even after you learn to plug the top of the straw with your thumb, half the time the straw just snaps, and every other time the juice squirts around the sides and spills anyway! angry.gif

Spoon: Green vegetables always made me gag when I was little, and they still do now!
