Not only that, but that gun was a very futuristic device, probably leaps and bounds ahead of today's tasering technology.

You make it sound as though releasing electricity in a somewhat uncontrolled manner is a thing that only a true prodigy of the 21st century could come up with.

I'd like to point out that the 7DAS example involves the Welder having a new, undead, frankenstien-like body. The tazer gun worked like a charm on Evil Barry.

True, while the mat was a more clever option, if needed, I'm pretty sure Trilby had a longer range with the Grolly than the Welder has with that machete.

You all realize that the whole tazer thing was probably added after the end of the series? Right? You do, I'm sure.

Yes, but it can be explained, then we can all pretend it's been there all along.

I'm sure knocking a guard on the head with an umbrella would have the same range and effect as a tazer, and would be much less expensive. It's almost as if that nonsense boss battle was added to justify its implementation.

Whack guards on the head with a thousand dollars worth umbrella with integrated grappling hook and which also happen to be the tool his job depend on? Yeah, good idea.

Maybe about the umbrella thing, but about that boss battle? That thing was as out of place as a something in a something else convention. I mean, all of a sudden some giant ball comes up and you have a friggin' health meter? Seriously? I mean, I would have thought he could come up with a more clever ending than that.

Actually, I reckoned it was a rather clever thing to pull - I found it incredibly unexpected. It also seemed MGS-ish. And Trilby didn't need a healh bar till the fight, anyway.

Dammit, Trilby. Stop referring to yourself in the third person, and answer our god damn questions, you crazed, cat-burgling Brit.

Trilby’s umbrella is not only a means of transportation and a taser. It is also a backscratcher.
