Is 7 Days skipable? (spoilers) I'm replaying the series.

I've not yet played 6 Days a Sacrifice. I can't believe I waited this long, as I really love this series. I know nothing about 6 Days. I don't even want to read its page on Yahtzee's site because I don't want anything at all spoiled. I don't know when it takes place, who the characters are, etc. I want to play it completely fresh.

I have already played 5 Days, 7 Days, and Notes. I am replaying them now in anticipation of finally playing 6 Days. I just replayed 5 Days. Now I don't know if I need to replay 7 Days or not. Since it seemed to only really deal with Dafoe's spirit, and nothing else, I thought perhaps it would not need to be replayed. It's not that I didn't enjoy the game, I just want to get through these again quickly to get to 6 Days. I have a tendency to forget things, which is why I'm replaying them in the first place.

No spoilers, please! But should I replay 7 Days? Also, I don't see why I wouldn't play them, but are the IF games necessary to the series as well? I've not touched them yet either. Ooh, one other question while I've got you here. Is the game interface point and click like the first two, or IF-esque like Notes?

As a side-note, I'm looking forward to playing Trilby's Notes with music functioning. I was one of the beta testers on it, and unfortunately I beat the game before it [whatever bug it was that wouldn't allow the midis to play] got fixed. The game was creepy as hell with just the ambient sounds and stuff though.

Yes I think you should play it again. Also 6 days is a point and click game. I think you should play the IF games to get the most out of it. But don't worry it is not as if they are very long or hard.

Let's pretend I've never played 7 Days. Are there plot points and things in 6 Days that I wouldn't get unless I'd played it? No specifics. Just a yes or no would suffice.

You don't need to have 7DAS memorized or anything. If you've already played it once and the chases are just too scary for you to repeat, by all means, skip it.

I recommend you play the IF games. They aren't crucial, but they may fill a plot hole or three in 6DAS.

Like I already said, yes I think you should play it again, it is very much involved with 7 days.

Haha. You're funny. Okay, you guys have me convinced. I'm going to replay it. I mostly just want to replay it to re-read Trilby's little note from the locker, but I'll play to the end. It's not that I don't like this one, it's just, after playing 5 Days, I want to get into Notes as soon as possible because I don't recall all the Chzo and Tall Man stuff entirely. To me, that's the most exciting stuff in the series so far.

Anyways, thanks guys.
