Yep. Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw has almost the whole of page 29 of PlayStation Official Magazine UK to himself. Now I'll let you de-rail the topic entirely...

Yeah, that was really insightful for all of us who are not able to acquire a copy of said magazine.

Do you want me to go into more detail or something? They completely missed the fact that he'd already made games for a start, they interviewed him. There is absolutely nothing in there you don't already know better, but expect more traffic on the Fully Ramblomatic and Escapist Magazine websites. There's absolutely nothing else there. It's mainly just about how hilarious his reviews are but it does say that Yahtzee said, "I'd rather be contributing my own games to the sphere of human culture than kicking apart other people's." The headline is "Megacritic" with the sub-heading "Zero Punctuation, maximum laughs". It's not worth getting the magazine for it, I'm just pointing out that he's getting more major publicity. Aw sod it! Somebody (moderator obviously) just delete this topic, seeing as saying something is just going to result in everybody metaphorically kicking me in the bollocks!
Tiredness can kill! Have a break, have a Kit-Kat.

Speaking of publicity and the rewards it brings, I think it was awesome that you actually got to go see Valve's offices and see how they work. I read about their 'no title' system in their 'Raising the Bar' book, it sounded like an excellent (and real creative) way for a game developer to run. The blog was a great read!

Huh, what? (goes to read the thing)

Oh. Yeah. I'd like to work in a place like that. It sounds like one of those really awesome corporations to work at, like Google or... Google.
Of course you'd have to make me believe I wasn't in Los Angeles first. I hate that place. It scares me...
Seriously, though, if I wasn't so damn lazy and decided to be in a-the game design biz, I'd love to work there. Valve has always had great games.

That shouldn't be too hard, since it's located in Redmond, Washington(right beside Seattle).

Yeah, he just arrived in LA, and then took a bus or something equally similar.
