By the looks of things the other topic contains spoilers, didn't read it however. A discussion thread on this forum will be nice.

The opening title sequence alone was worth the wait. Now to play.

Done the first heist a couple times so far. Got an A, woo.

This game seems like it's going to be some serious fun. The gameplay is nice and the mechanics seem to work a lot better than it did in 1213. Quicker response time and all that.

It also has a lot of style.

I think its funny what the voices for the guards are like, its supposed to be set in america yet they all have british accents.

Currently failing the subliminal messaging puzzel, I don't think theres enough time to read the explanation.

Hey everybody, just thought I'd take the opportunity to mention that Spann, Clouddark and I are the loyal testers mentioned on the front page. In case you're one of those weirdos who only read the update until the point that Yahtzee linked to his new game, you're more than welcome at the Unofficial Art of Theft forums, which is where the official (!) speedrun database will be.

So if you want to actually compete with your fellow players, that's where the action is.

Hope you're all enjoying the new game.

It's not set in America. If it were, all the security guards would be fat hooting football fans because Yahtzee is, well, Yahtzee.

Looks like I was right about the nature of the game after seeing that tiny-ass screenshot image.

Wrong-o. It clearly says in the opening sequence that he went to America.

Found a glitch, if anyone's interested. In the company building, when you're trying to get the file, if you let one guard spot you, then climb up and zap the deranged guard, the other guard freezes. Ha.

...

I bet you're reading this regardless of whether you played it or not, aren't you?

By the way, Presidente...

During the subliminal "SUBMIT" sequence, you have to hit the letter below the "SUBMIT" message as quickly as possible. The way I manage it is by rapidly mashing the key with my two pointer fingers instead of attempting to be quick with one hand.

Cool game. I like how replayable it is, and how it's only just challenging enough that you want to punch your monitor, but not enough to make you want to give up forever. I liked that every time I felt that something was unfair, it was because I had missed something due to my own stupidity.

Unfortunately, it's probably in part due to the limits of the gaming engine, but that last boss was the wankiest thing ever. Seriously, what the fuck was that. It didn't seem necessary that the game even have a final boss at all, and it was just so tacked on. Suddenly you have a health meter and you have to avoid all this flying robot shit and it doesn't make any sense and clashes horribly with the aesthetic that the rest of the game has established.

OTHER THAN THAT, it's a fun game. Well done.

If you want frustrating, have you tried the final mission where you do all 7 levels in a row?

Also does anyone know how to get all the secrets? I have two extra outfits but thats it.

Get more costumes . . . By getting better ranks (preferably trilby ranks), on the levels. (then beat level 7 again)
