Now I understand why Chef cited this system in the forum description. I suppose since I'm not talking about the actual TG16 and just its advertising that I'm ok. These comics rawk!

Just to elaborate since no one else seems to have poked into it. The Turbo Graphix 16 was a game system competing with SNES and Sega. The Sega CD came out just after their own cd add on for the TG16, and they were pissed. Not because of any plagiarism, but because Sega made a better product and kicked their asses in sales.

So like any mature people they created a three volume comic page in a gaming magazine which featured a company called 'feka" (pronounced fake-uh) trying to take over the world or something and then in the first issue they revealed that feka's salesmen were actually evil robots. Wow.

Sweet flaming baby Jesus! I thought that the time when I went to a locker room with a communal shower was the gayest thing I will ever see or do, but I stand corrected. In fact, it doesn't even compare.

speaking of which, why does this forum insist on banning TG-16 from being a discussed topic? sure, it wasnt the best system around...but to be a true lover of video games is to appreciate all systems for whatever amount of charm and ingenuity that they brought to the table

notably and obviously, some systems did this in spades, while others did indeed lack it.

Mireaux- I don't know. Perhaps Chefelf is an evil corporation? Operating under that assumption there's only one possible way to make him let us discuss the TG16 and it involves badly conceived comics...
