Found this at the top of an email from starwars.com

couldn't find a complete version in the shop.

Anyone care to explain why Boba Fett is decking Darth Vader? Does anyone know anything about this?

Nerds help please.

This is the funiest thing.

It is kinda funny. Looks like Annie is pleading for his life.

Maybe it's a special Edition of Rock-em Sock-em Robots?

Annie? Yuck. Unless maybe he owes somebody money, and Fett's come to collect.

"Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I'll pay you tomorrow! It's only a daaaaaay aaaawaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy!"
"I had a lot of different ideas. At one point, Luke, Leia and Ben were all going to be little people, and we did screen tests to see if we could do that." -George Lucas, in STAR WARS: the Annotated Screenplays (p197).

The Star Wars Universe is a magical place filled with love. Bad tends to good. Proof: 1. Bad Darth Vader became good Darth Vader. 2. Han was a rogue when we met him: He shot poor Greedo in cold blood. Han quickly grew a heart of gold and decided to only shoot Greedo in Self Defense. Bad Han Solo became Good Han Solo. Therefore 3. Bad Boba Fett became Good Boba Fett. This is why the Sandworm could not eat him. It saw the good in him.

I'd invite fellow Chefelves to join The War on Boba Fett, and especially the fan boys that love this vastly overrated bit character. I'm thinking use Photoshop to make Fett do things that even a fan boy would be ashamed of. Of course fan boys have no shame, so this could be hard, so ideas appreciated.

"Star Wars Shop"? George Lucas has been after my money since I was a boy. That banner is the high-tech equivalent of Luke Skywalker's kids newsletter.

PS. ChefElf: Like the new board look! It's WIDESCREEN!

There is nothing, at all, you can do to Boba that has not been done already, I'm afraid.

Civ2, you are on to something. Did Boba ever get paid for tracking down the Mill. Falcon?
It seems like everyone is over the nitpicking. Too bad.

Ah... this makes more sense. The cropped image is tilted to look like vader's getting clocked.

This must be Vader personally tracking down Fett to hire him to find Solo... eh... for Jabba. Or Vader intercepted Jabbas Add and quickly skipped around the universe to tell them he wanted to work closely with him. And Bobba Fett obviously moved to Mustafa and was living up a 2000 degree hot mountain like a crazy old japanese Kamazaki soldier on some pacific island thinking WW2 is still on and takes a swing at any visitors.

Nice to see little Annie didn't devleope any life long fear of lava. I suppose once you realise you can surf on the stuff you just don't think much of it anymore.

Anyway... I'd still like a bit more information.

hey, don't know if you're still even following this thread, but as soon as i saw it, i knew i had to reply - stumbled across the site by accident! that picture is from a 4-part comic strip called "boba fett: enemy of the empire", and vader's hired him to track down some casket (the suitcase in the pic) that has the living head of some priestess in it, the planet is maryx minor. i only have a couple of the issues, so don't have all the story, but i hope that's enough info to satisfy your vader-beating curiosity! oh, and fett also shoots him in the face with some sort of projectile weapon - who says the force is superior to a good ol' fashioned ass-whupping, eh?!?

Cool, cheers.

And Cheflef wonders why we love Boba-Fett so much.
