the control schematic for luigis mansion is insane. this is a game that features luigi,.mario's brother, which pretty much automatically conjures the imagery and stereotype of it being marketed towards a younger audience.

i can see where Nintendo wanted to go with the game. It was a great idea, but poor execution in regards to the controls. Its not a game that just anyone can pick up and play, it takes much practice to master the controls
the world is a game of players & pawns with everyone striving to be the king

The entire purpose of Luigi's Mansion was to show off the translucent effects of the ghosts. I remember the fishing play style being a bit awkward, but the game itself was never hard.

luigis mansion is reminiscent of another game that came out about 15 yrs before it..a ghost catcher style game that the exact title of escapes my mind...

..however..those of you who are unfortunate enough to remember a shortly-lived video game console called "action max" may know what im referring to.

thanks, so is yours.

...but i have to admit, the first "escape" movie was much, much better than l.a. was.

im not even sure if id want to see a third escape movie,..what would the story be about? ..possibly a prequel to efny telling of the events that transpired in kansas city with fresno bob?

btw, heres a youtube clip of that action max game i was talking about:

Wanted to throw in Valkyrie Profile for its steep ass learning curve. Regret not having cracked into hard difficulty to the end, but phew.

Don't get me started on the VP2 trainwreck. Eesh. Dunno why I still own that.
