Yay! We are back to the good ole hateful yahtzee again.

The video was brilliant as allways. Good job.

Not relevant however but still slightly amusing:

I could only weep in the realization I am not the only man who got tired of seeing mister (I used toc all him sock hatted puff) fagballs game in an ameriocan comic type of ciclic reincarnations getting repeated over and over again.

Enter a short piece of a conversation I had one early sunday morning on my last trip to the states:

Gostro:
Hey is that game-?
Zelda fan
Yep it's windwaker
Gostro:
Zelda?
Zelda fan
Yeah this one is windwaker
Oh so,uh,I ve always wondered, why do I keep seeing this guy be a boy and then grow old, what happened to the cool guy from the cartoons?Does he always get magic zapped like Guybrush in Monkey Island 3?
Zelda fan
It's not like that, this are like elseworld versions of the same story
Gostro:
Isn't that rather cheap and unoriginal?
*Zelda fan slaps Gostro with a issue of Infinite crisis in the face*

Yahtzee hits the fucking bullseye again. I hated everything about Phantom Hourglass except drawing penis icons where my objectives were on the map.

Also, props for the best Aerosmith song ever :<

Agreed. I once played the first Zelda with a Nintendo emulator, then another with a Snes emulator, reached the same conclusion, and dropped the fucking thing like a hot coal. Little personless sword&shield-wielding green faggot waltzing around in a world of tiles saving the princess is not really a plot that would be able to keep my interest for more than 2 minutes. And they made like 20 games with exactly the same storyline. Beautiful. Also, the find-this-key-to-this-door-behind-which-another-key-lies is not an overly intriguing puzzle system, either.

I presume the whole 'dog in Japan casting spells in Japan' that Yahtz talks about at the end is Okami?

OH MY FUCKING GOD THE ADVERT AT THE END OF THE VIDEO HAS SWEARING IN IT.

Y'know that was supposed to be one of those things you don't say... My favourite part though biggrin.gif
I refuse to watch the adverts though. They detract from whatever they touch! Should I be more excited by the new smilies? Like the ninja and the pirate? Or are they cheap laughs... that don't work...

I don't think anybody's meant to be excited about smilies. That pirate is cool, though.

Uhh, what did you expect from NES/SNES GAMES? Everything in its own time, dude.

There were lots and lots of great games for both systems. Zelda ain't one of them in my opinion.

The Legend of Zelda is my second favorite NES game of all time :<

I can't claim to be a huge fan of Link to the Past, though, mainly because the level design is worse than in Twilight Princess.

You at least like Ocarina and Majora's Mask, right?

Those two Zelda games were the only ones I played, couldn't be arsed to find out whether I'm going to hate the rest of them as well or not. The newer ones can give me blowjobs and print me stacks of good quality counterfeit $100 bills while playing and I'm still not going to care, because there are fundamental contrasts between me and the basic ideas of that series. (Alright, maybe I wasn't exactly truthful about this last statement.)

No, I think I'd play anything for that. Anything!
