It seems very nice. I cried bitter tears of sorrow when I saw that my PMs were all gone, but I will cope, I will survive. I don't know how this "friends" thing is meant to work. I just selected a bunch of people whose posts I mostly enjoy reading, more or less off the top of my head. But the real question is what does that list do?

I don't think the PMs are actually gone. I think it's just a weird glitch. I should be able to work it out.

I'm not sure about the friends thing either. I did the same thing as civ2. smile.gif

I am sure I will switch that friends thing off and the star thing (which I said I found degrading) after everything is complete. I would like that star rating thing off my profile if possible if there is a way for that to happen. I see (Statements through a ratings system.)

I still can't get into viewing the personal messages page and the gallery.
They both lead to blank pages.

In "My Assistant" and "Recent PM's" the titles of recent messages show up but that leads to a blank page too.

Whoa. I just checked out that wacky new profile page. Weirdness abounds. I dislike people commenting on one another, because it's going to be nothing but either ego stroking or bashing. and I just added a buncha friends, but looking at it, I feel like there'd be less people out of the list than in it around here, and I don't want to discriminate and make people who aren't on my list feel bad, so I might just remove them all soon...

I don't like the rating thing either. It'd be cool if we could make it optional, like Dee said. Just my two cents. Didn't notice it before. However, I don't mind the comments because you can moderate comments. If someone is going to be mean enough to bash someone on the forums, they'll do it whether in a user comment or in a post somewhere.

The friends thing, I haven't really decided if I like it or not. It does seem like it could be used fairly discriminatory, but then at the same time, I don't get my panties in a wad if someone doesn't make me their Facebook thing or whatever unless we're like really good RL friends, so I don't think I'll have a problem. Others may, though.

I'm also having pm problems. It says I have two new messages but I click it and it takes me to a blank page.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

I don't have any friends here now and I don't want any so I think it would be neccessary for it to be turned off for my profile. Even if I did I wouldn't register them there. I hope it can be turned off.

All in all I like what I'm seeing... it is very white, though. I have to squint a little.

But the buttons are fancy, and everything seems pretty user friendly, with very little down time. I like it.

edit: oh, wait. I can't seem to get the gallery to work, is it just me? I shall investigate further.

Also, what about the Gallery?

I'm finding that the My Friends link at the top of the page doesn't work, at least in Firefox, but Firefox is all I know.

Also, the Friends add-on has a point? Aren't we all friends here?

I don't think we are if someone hasn't been approved on profiles set with approval only.
It seems unusual to directly join or reject people as "friends."

Talking and friends are not the same to me.

I'd like the ability to put my "friends" in some kind of hierarchy, so everyone would know who I liked a lot and who I liked less than those others I hadn't simply forgotten. This place just isn't high school enough.

Go get blown by a cheerleader in the bathroom, you douchebag! If my friends weren't so busy dressing in black and being meloncholy because their white middle class suburban lifestyle was so hard, I'd have them all beat you up.
