Hey everyone this is my first post so be gentle.

For those who don't know which is probably most of you Yahtzee is competing in an event called the 48 hour lockdown, Yahtzee is a memeber of one of the five teams competing.

The challenge is to design an original video game within 48 hours and on Sunday the judges will announce the winning team.

You can find further details here: http://www.nextlevel...;event=48hrgame

Apparently there will be a blog a forum you can use to encourage your favourite team and a live feed of the area the teams are working in so stay tuned for updates.

I found out Yahtzee was competing when I saw his picture in a news article in the local paper so I decided I would have a look to see if I could spot him and I didn't just spot him I actually got to meet him. Yahtzee is a nice bloke and as you'd expect not too crazy about groupies, surprisingly he's a little bit quietly spoken but by no means reserved. Apparently it was his first time noticed in public which I find hard beleive. Another thing that surprised me is that yahtzee is tall, I'm 189cm/6 foot 3 inches tall and Yahtzee is just a bit taller.

The 48 hour challenge concludes at around 6:00pm on Sunday night so if you live in the Brisbane area come have a look, details on the location are on the sight I linked to above.

I find it hard to believe it was his first time noticed in public as well. Surely there would be a few fans around Brisbane.

More than anything, do you think we'll see the result of this project? welcome to the forums, by the way, Omnimsilie.

Yeah it would definately be interesting to see the results of such a strict time limit. Not just in Yahtzee's work but all the teams.

I can't say for sure wether the results will be fair game for everyone but I sure as hell will try to aquire as many of the five games as I can, and when/if I do I will make them available in some way, anyone know of a way I could effectively do this?.

Oh and just so everyone knows Yahtzee was wearing his hat and no the hat isn't hiding anything either.

Here is a picture of Yahtzee with the rest of his team:

You don't even want to know what I read that as the first time.

Strange to think that he doesn't look like this any more:

I'm glad he got his hair cut, because in those previous two pics he looks like the guy who live on the floor below me who I hate.

Could one of you stalkers get it over with and build the obligatory cult-shrine for his highness now, please?

I've been duped, he's not at all the simply drawn trilby-lookalike his reviews portray him as!

What the hell, guys!

It's not a tautology because we have no proof you exist, and in order to say something right, you have to exist.

Anyway, I guess it's no surprise there's no lack of alcohol. http://xckd.com/323/
