Yep.

And I won't have a bad word said against her.

Yep.

And I won't have a bad word said against her.

Her voice is bland and unappealing, and her music (and for that matter, deplorable image) have absolutely no redeeming value whatsoever. The world, and Black Eyed Peas, would be far better off without her fucking it up with her nasally whine and useless whoring about.

Into the light, the Bangles? I remember making a copy tape of that from my cousin. Not barful (as was the other side: soundtrack to dirty dancing)

this was 20 years ago, folks.

The Bangles are a slice of alright sometimes. There are definitely worse bands out there. "Hazy Shade Of Winter" is actually a pretty damned good song, I think.

There is an unfathomable amount of music from before the 1940's that I should be more ashamed of... A secret love of some stuff from The Killers... More Queen and Abba than is healthy, coupled with an apparent affinity for disco in general... And what my friend would classify as an unhealthy love of the White Stripes. Mock me if you will. tongue.gif

Spoon: Skillet has kinda come full circle. Some of their early stuff was very depressing/trippy.

I put together a proposal CD earlier this year. Combined with later itunes, I'm embarrassed to mention these artists reside in my playlist:

Firefall
Gary Numan
Rupert Holmes
Alan O'Day
Starbuck
Tavares
Abba
Marshall Tucker Band
Andy Gibb
ABC
Exile
Hugh Grant

Please remove Gary Numan from that list.

Listening to Gary Numan is something to be proud of.

Hmm...

Styx

Journey

Chicago

Twisted Sister, to an extent.

Other than that, I think I have a pretty sound taste in music...Sound enough, anyway...

And I am completely unashamed of listening to The No Kill I.

EDIT: I love how, whenever Heccubus talks about music, I have never heard of most of the bands he mentions...
And how I'm sure what he's saying would be profound if I only knew what he meant. I have feeling if I knew who Electric Traveler was I'd agree that Temple of the Iris was their best album after Derek Williams left...

I think my lack of spending money and reluctance to hop aboard the piracy train have severely limited my interests.

Or maybe I'm just too picky.

EDIT2: Typo fixed.

Somebody tell me Nashville Pussy aren't one of the best hard rock bands out right now.

Fine, Gary Numan is cool.

And I don't mind listening to him. That song anyway, which made it onto a special playlist I created earlier this year. I'm not astute enough to know any more than One of his songs off the top of my head, how about the rest of you? But to be honest with myself, I threw him into the one-hit wonder bin, and therefore allied him with other cheesy recording artists listed. But if you want to make me confess that my musical tastes actually include one you consider a super cool musician, how can I argue with that?
