I know I can be a busy person sometimes, and i usually try my best to keep up with the news on a daily basis, but i guess i was stuck in a cave back in 2004, because the huge story completely blew right past me...in fact, i never recall even hearing anything about this story at all.

maybe i did, and three years time has taken its toll

i recently heard the story that happened in april 2004 of a young girl named Louise Ogborn, who was a McDonalds employee in Mount Washington, KY, and was ordered to strip search by her supervisor, at the demands of an anonymous caller claiming to be a law enforcement official.

here are some links, for those of you that want the full story

http://abcnews.go.co...=3688563&page=1

http://en.wikipedia....Prank_Call_Scam

for the rest of you, i will try to briefly explain the scenario:

girl decided to work evening shift for extra money, a man who apparently has never even been inside of this restaurant, and is in florida, places a prank call to the mcdonalds pretending to be a law enforcement official claiming the girl stole a purse from a customer, and that the officer has the customer at his station, and orders a strip search on the girl to be performed by her boss over the telephone.

the girl is subjected to over 3 1/2 hours of sexual abuse locked away in her boss' office, her boss (who is female) has to soon attend to other work related duties, and the caller tells boss to phone her fiancee & have him watch over the girl instead. the boss does so, and soon her fiancee arrives, and the phone is passed to him. the caller continues his demands, while the fiancee still believes he is talking with a law figure. the caller orders the fiance to repeatedly spank the girl, then orders the girl to perform oral sex on the fiancee.

another employee who was on shift at mcdonalds at the time of the lewd incident dialed *69, and learns the call was made from a pay phone in florida. detectives further learn the call was made via a calling card, and that this particular calling card was bought from wal-mart., they are lucky to have video survelliance tape of the transaction of the suspect actually buying the calling card at the walmart, and the idiot was dumb enough to wear his work uniform, which clearly shows he is a correctional officer at a nearby correctional facility. detectives then easily apprehend their suspect, who is later acquitted of all charges in court.

a couple of thoughts pass my mind on this incident..............

ok..i know its been a few years since i was 18, and was in high school, or whatever,..but jeeez..even back then i had common sense. i would never allow myself to be strip searched by anyone claiming to be an lawful entity simply over the phone. that person would need to arrive in person, and if they are of the opposite sex, i would only allow the search to be performed if a same sex member was present. but even before all this happens, they will need to thoroughly explain to me their justification for doing so, and produce authentic law badges, indicating they are truly law enforcement.

i cant believe some people are that gullible, admittedly..she was probably fearful of going to jail, even though she knew she didnt do anything wrong to begin with.

i can understand, if the strip search & abuse took place in a very short amount of time...but we are talking about three and a half hours...that almost the same timeframe as watching two movies back to back...what in the hell was the girl, her boss, and the fiancee thinking?

was the boss really just too busy to really do anything about the issue? were too many people ordering burgers and fries, for her to attend to her employee and stop the obvious abuse?

what the hell was going on in the mind of the fiancee when he was recieving the oral sex, not to mention the fact his soon-to-be-spouse was the manager on duty who could pop right into the office at any given time and witness this?...obviously its not rocket science, and anyone with half a brain knows law enforcement would never order such a insane request..especially over the phone.

Peter Brady was by far the ugliest Brady kid on the "Brady Bunch". I mean, they were all pretty ugly, and the fact that the Brady dad wanted to always take the boys out on overnight camping trips just a tad bit too often, gave me the creeps.

You and I obviously don't know the same law enforcement officers, Princess.

What I find surprising is that ABC News has a video of the incident available. I'd probably watch it if I weren't in a public place right now too. But no, I'll be good and not get entertainment for others' misfortune this time.

Having said that, everyone involved in this had to know it's illegal, especially the management. So why did they go along with it for so long? I think it's because deep down inside, the whole lot of them have law enforcement spanking fetishes. At least, that's what Sigmund would say.

hmm..after reading everything listed here,.i cant help but to wonder if the whole incident was a conspiracy.

its plausible to assume that the phone call was the idea of the boss & his fiancee, and they knew someone out in florida that would be able to make the call pretending to be a cop. so, they all masterminded this idea, and decided for the guy in florida to place the call when they knew she would be on shift.

im sure the boss & her fiancee were probably in bed one night and she said to her fiancee: "you know, honey...that brash fantasy you keep having,.about spanking a teenage girl, and then getting your helmet shined afterwards...we can probably make that happen..but at work..i have a distant friend that lives out in florida..you see,.he can call up to the restaurant when she is on shift,.and pretend to be a cop..then you come up my job a little bit later,.and ill leave the two of you alone in my office for a couple of hours..and you can have your way with her,.and it will seem like youre just following orders over the phone from a cop. plus, the girl is 18,.so youre not dealing with a minor either..you should be safe,.darling"

Yeah, it sounds like the pig fiancee at the very least was in on it. I am very cynical, and I've met A LOT of stupid people, but no one is so stupid as to listen to a person on a phone order you to spank a girl or have her give you oral sex because you think it is a police officer. Give me a fucking break. I hope that the moron and his fiancee manager get loooots of jail time. Beating all of the perpetrators' skulls in is also acceptable. And this girl needs to learn to stand up to bullshit and get her foot swinging at private parts if she needs to, too.

Edit: Ha. In reading the rest of the story, the manager actually sued McDonalds and won one million dollars. Pretty awesome after commiting sexual assault and unlawful imprisonment, huh? And the guy who did it got away on the defense "Durr, you can't prove he made all of those calls, despite buying the calling cards and using them to phone the restaurants where the offenses happened and finding them still on his person." I sincerely hope that the actual defense put his ownership of the cards into doubt, but I'm far more likely to believe the jury was dumb as a post, and the DA didn't get enough evidence before the trial.

That is what can happen when people are brought up like robots to do as they are strictly told. I could see it the opposite way round if she defended herself with a knife then she'd go to jail as they could make it look like she was at fault before anything happened on the surveillance video.

only one problem..all the knives at Mickey D's are made of plastic, and arent that sharp. they are designed just to spread butter and cut into pancakes.

I dont think the knive could pose any real threats.

I mean a personal knife. Oh it looks like my thought is completely flawed. It would have been found in the search.
