Well, my ideas are:

Economic Development vs Environmental Protection
Making Learning a Foreign Language Compulsory
The American Immigrant Situation (Closed or Open Borders)
Public Smoking Bans
Corporal Punishment of Children (in schools, at home, etc)
Capital Punishment



Some less serious ones:

Regulations for Models? (weight limit to stop the appeal of eating disorders, etc)
Should children own cell phones?
Vegetarianism
Did the U.S. really land on the moon in 1969, or was it all special effects? (tongue.gif)
