I see you got a Thermaltake Armor case. I was planning to get one of those but I ultimately decided for the Coolermaster stacker 810. I don't have much of a desktop but I might show mine later. Inside is it the aluminium or steel version?

Yup, I like this case. It is very flexible and there's enough space inside for a coffee machine.

I'll go for a quick description rather than try to dig up my camera.

my desk faces the window so I can see what a beautiful day I'm missing out on as I sit inside and code my life away get some fresh air and sunshine. it's a largish Steelcase formerly belonging to the AI lab and then a senior on my hall who graduated. my computer is an IBM laptop, and the wallpaper is this:

http://xkcd.com/297/

in the back left corner is a black metal desk lamp that my boyfriend gave me and that I repaired the switch on with my 1337 electrical h4xx0ring skillz, and a few chocolates my former roommate brought back for me from Russia. in the front left is my linear algebra text and my graphing calculator.

on my right are some pads of scratch paper, my notebooks for class, and a laptop that one of the labs was getting rid of that I still haven't managed to get working. further back is a mess of teacups, a flashlight, eraser, Java textbook, miscellaneous papers, and a small tube of krazy glue. in both corners are each of my speakers of musical amazingness.

I like my desk smile.gif
Head Gunner for the Royal Sloop Crimson Steel, Queen of the Dead, Instigator of Chaos and Confusion, Knight of the Grand Recursive Order of the Lambda Calculus, and also The Non.

Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....
....We'd be lying though.

Well, I'll do the same as Emu.

My desk is blue, made of cheap would and laminate. There are a few half-scratched-off stickers on the two draws full of computer parts and wires.

My 17" CRT monitor sits in the centre of the desk with a "monitor shelf" attached above and is burdeoned with a mass of paperwork.

The tower of my lovely HP computer stis to the left of the monitor and my cheap router sits atop it. The is also covered in paperwork.

Further to the left stands my cable internet "Surfboard", backwards out of sheer lazyness. Between the monitor and tower are both my poor quality speakers.

To the right of the monitor the desk is covered with various objects; MP3 player box, headphones, various computer game boxes, batteries, more paperwork, cordless phone, more batteries, 7 pens and various litter.

On my desk there is shit.

And here I was thinking someone made Fullyramblomatic-themed backgrounds. Like, the smiley-face-crosshair-guy and friends, or the unnamed Zero Punctuation demon. The whole lot of you disappoint me.

I'll get a screenshot of my desktop in a little bit. I would do it now but I'm lazy.

I see a conspicuous lack of Firefox. You make me sad.

I can't justify spending the time to get firefox when IE7 does everything I need it to with little or no hassle.

And as much as I like Parappa, Um Jammer Lammy is a better game to an almost ridiculous degree.

Woops, I forgot to answer the question. It's the aluminum version.
