Halo 3 isn't worth all the hype.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, but essentially its a hi-def Halo 2, and for any Halo fanboys reading, I'd like to make an announcement:

IT'S JUST ANOTHER FPS.

And it has the same 5-6 enemies over and over.

its interesing that when you think about it, microsoft itself hasnt produced anything worthwhile or mentioning. Microsoft saw that a company called Bungie was making a killer game called Halo, so they bought them out.,.then Microsoft took note of the succession of great hits Rareware was coming out with, and bought them out too. Its just sad that Chris & Tim Stamper have already departed from Rare, they were the reason for all the great games in the first place.
Peter Brady was by far the ugliest Brady kid on the "Brady Bunch". I mean, they were all pretty ugly, and the fact that the Brady dad wanted to always take the boys out on overnight camping trips just a tad bit too often, gave me the creeps.

I stopped following Rareware when they got bought out. I didn't realise they were still doing anything. Last I heard Perfect Dark Zero was cancelled, and the only game they released for Microsoft was a port of Conker's Bad Fur Day.

As for Halo 3, meyh. I thought the first was nothing but vanilla, and didn't bother with the second. The third holds no interest for me, and I fail to see why it has such a huge following.

HALO 3 SPOILER

As if you care that much.

Spoiler Below:

Master chief dies, apparently. hit the link to download the vid. http://games.softped...load-20021.html

End spoiler.

EDIT: Apparently if you complete it on Legendary mode, the opposite happens.

Unfortunately, I work for GAME, so I have to put up with people masturbating all over this fucking game every day.

im a little behind on the wii console in regards to the virtual console, so those who want to shed some light for me, please do.

from what i understand, the virtual console allows you to download many offerings of games ranging from nes, super nes, genesis, turbo grafx 16, n64.

i went to nintendos website to try to ascertain further clarification, but i guess i didnt know where to look.

from what i understand, you can download the games you want via broadband internet connection for a set price for each game, when i went on nintendos site to try to find the listing for the games, it lists everything in wii points.

i know nintendo must obviously want legal tender at some point, so why not just list the prices that way? and how do i find out what the actual prices are? im thrown off by the wii points pricing system. im surprised they didnt list mario games in golden coins.

Typical, expected, dull "climax" of the Halo series. Good riddance to a mediocre series surrounded by drooling fanboys and over-hype, I say. Call me when they do one thing original.

im guessing you went out today and bought the game...played it the whole way thru,.and beat it already?

didnt it just come out today?,.hmm..was you part of the crowds waiting at select retailers at midnight, that sold the game early then? or if you bought it today,.are you saying that halo 3 can be beat in a very short time? or did you just play a little bit of the game?..or havent even played it, and are just drawing your own judgmental conclusions?

Nope. Thanks to the joys of other people getting the info for me, I don't need to spend my time or money to find out anything at all. I'll play it some time, I suppose, but from everything I've read, nothing is really different from the last two (which I did play and beat because coop mode of any game > single player experience, even if it's a mediocre game) except it's on the 360. I could have guessed the plot, were there any memorable characters from any of the games for me to remember, and I'm VERY disappointed that Master Chief didn't grow a third arm out of his chest to triple wield weapons and bigger energy swords. That was the most logical addition to the series, given the increments between Halo 1 and 2.

Hopefully I'll be able to find a copy and a controller in a year or two that isn't covered in jizz from all of the fanboys loving it a little too much.

Ewwww... Was that image necessary? pinch.gif Bleck.

Anyway, talked to a friend who got it on the midnight release. He loves it! I asked why. He said it's just like the other two games except the storyline... Well, it ends.

*crickets chirp*

Big fuggin' deal.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

It's easy if you fly to the east coast and just hug close to the water and then get to the drop point, go back up the coast, and then back to the airport. Also, in order to complete the game you don't actually have to complete Zero's AC missions, you only have to buy his shop. I think its a glitch in the game because later in the game Zero makes a reference to the final mission you do for him, even though I had't played that mission yet.

yeah I ended up tailing the river.

But there is any easy to complete Zero's AC missions. If you just stay still, you don't use fuel, just wait until one comes near you, kill it, park, wait till comes near you, kill it, etc, that way you never get too far from Zero's shop and hence don't need to worry about saving enough fuel to fly half way across the city.

hmmmm... that's brilliant.

big sloppy man kiss to you.
