Dude smoked pot with his hippie dad when he was 10. Did very crude stand-up comedy when he was 11ish. He should have never landed a Disney part. Kids idolize those Disney stars. And now that Disney's High School Musical chick with the naked photos! Hilarious.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

The Mickey Mouse Club didn't spawn that many good things either -- let's also not forget Lindsey Lohan was in numerous Disney films when she was younger, and look what happened to her! It's probably Disney's fault for not really looking into their stars and / or corrupting them with fame later on. lol.

Nah, should have made "Indiana Jones and Geriatric Hospital of Doom". Basically, Everyone is like "Indy, you're too old for adventuring" so they stick him in a retirement flat, where he escapes and runs off to India with all of these doctors catching after him, trying to kill him.

I stand corrected. They should make that the movie, instead of "Fate of Atlantis". tongue.gif

This sounds like a turkey waiting to happen. There was absolutely no need for a fourth Indiana Jones movie, but I guess there was still some blood to be squeezed out of the franchise.

I just don't understand
why they would drag Harrison Ford
out of retirement for this
I mean if we're really going for ridiculous
and unnescessary then how about Star Wars 7, 8, and 9

It gets worse. They're making a third Mummy movie. sad.gif One was perfect. Two was too many. Three will kill small children

I agree
The fact that Rachel Weiz
didn't want to do the third should've

been a red flag, but nooooo
they're gonna recast her and make
the story mostly about father and son

so sad sleep.gif

A classic example of Hollywood's complete inability to leave a decent movie well enough alone. These days, if a film is even moderately successful, it must become a trilogy!

Well, if it's in '57 and in South America, it might have some nazis..

heh good point. that could be pretty funny if they do it. it could help save the film by adding at least one more point from the tried and true indy formula.

Hey very good point, escaped nazis could pop up, especially if it's in Argentina. But then I really doubt that GL will have the sense to do that.

Maybe the opening will have Indy fighting with George for the rights.

It was on aintitcool.com and slashfilm.com a few days ago that the warehouse from the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark is rumored to be featured in the new film.

Likely they'll stumble through the warehouse and walk right by the box labeled "Lost Ark" which will be int he foreground but out of Indy's sight. It's a classic Lucas waka waka moment that he's just too shameless to pass up.

I'd heard speilberg was directing and lucas was just in charge of the story, am I wrong or is it that we're assuming lucas will taint every aspect of the project he's involved in?

I think Spielberg's will has been broken down enough by constant demands for a sequel that he'll let anything go just so Lucas will let him get some sleep.

If Spielberg was one for ideas like this we'd already have seen it in movies like "Shindler's List 2: The Shindlering" or "Saving Private Ryan Episode 1: Attack of my brother with a shovel"

Why would Spielberg allow Lucas
to write anything other than his name
on the cheks that will put this atrocity in motion.

I mean seriously enough with the bad sequels.

Obviously Lucas doesnt know when to stop
and he has the money todo whatever
but Spielberg should know better
