If you're being sarcastic about my response not being 100% original and/or witty, you should know that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. Not everything I post has to be awe-inspiringly insightful and biting.

Though it is still wit.
Like my mother always said: It is better to have been witty and lost then never to have been witty at all… or something like that.

While it may be considered the lowest form of wit (only because once somethings been said enough, it's taken as truth), I am appealing to the largest amount of people possible, so lowest common denominator comedy will ensure a chuckle from most on here.
And looks like you got stung by Sniffles and Cobnat, shame

Maybe you think it's low because you think it's easy but I assure you good sarcasm can be just as difficult as any other form of humour. It takes decent skill to extract what point to attack and how to attack it in such a way that it literally means you aren't, yet still make it clear that you are.

If your point is that you were being ironically sarcastic, and that your post WAS in fact, awe-inspiringly insightful and biting, then you're sadly mistaken.
Anyways, let us continue the topic! Onwards, not downwards, inwards, not towards, and all that.
Anyone actually care about Tomb Raider any more?

I really never enjoyed any of the games and decided not to bother anymore after 2.
Strangely enough Tomb raider shares a curious heritage with Street Fighter 2 in that all the sequels seemed like revampred versions of the second until they just started having all kinds of funny names that got the continuity completely lost...

Continuing the ACTUAL discussion, I stopped caring about Tomb Raider after I played 10 minutes into the first game's demo and started getting mauled by a bear while the camera stared at a haystack. I went and saw the first movie, but it ended up being little more than soft-core pornography and since if I wanted I could get the equivalent (with less boredom in-between scenes) by sitting at my home computer searching through Victoria's Secret catalogs, I left early and drove to a friend's place.

Console gamers aren't (always) that bad (well, there's a minority...) and yes, I reacted the same way to EVERY Tomb Raider game. The camera also didn't affect how you made her move, so you tell her to go forward from where the camera's facing, and she goes backwards, into a spike-pit or whatever! How did so many get 10/10 in magazine reviews? They were awful!
