Can you play Region One? If so, they're all over the place on eBay. I don't know about Region Two. Anyway that's a great movie. Bruce McDonald has a spotty record IMO, with that and Hard Core Logo (a distant second) being his only really watchable releases. Don McKellar, on the other hand, who wrote and starred, has some pretty good comic timing. Even the crap he's in is a little better because he's in it. If you can get it, try his directorial debut, Last Night. On top of being a rare well-done end-of-the-world movie, it's got Sarah Polley!

"I had a lot of different ideas. At one point, Luke, Leia and Ben were all going to be little people, and we did screen tests to see if we could do that." -George Lucas, in STAR WARS: the Annotated Screenplays (p197).

Yeah Don McKeller is awsome. A friend of mine (that I showed highway 61 to) Cuaght 'Last Night' on SBS (a TV station here that's actually good). I've been wanting to see it so badly for so long.

I also read a review for HCL in a magazine that is now sadly no more. It sounded good.

this really isnt a lost screen gem, per se...although it could be somewhat classified as such being that it is buried in about 20 yrs of time.

i recently watched a film i never saw before, and honestly dont recall it ever being released during its heyday.

a film starring sylvester stallone called "over the top"

the film is a beautiful story about believing in one's self, achievements.

it was far beyond the cheesy film that i had thought i was going to watch.

Um, if you haven't seen it, Serenity is worth the time.
All About Eve - Classic
THE LOST SKELETON OF CADAVRA - the best movie of all time. Period.
... has anyone seen Fido? Looks good, but I haven't had time to view it.
"The problem is, you're not a kangaroo... that's a bear... and he's in your pants."
"Maybe artists shouldn't talk about their art."
"Well kids, I guess your father isn't a hermaphrodite."
"Izzy! enough with the rabid smootching!!"

yes!! that was such a great film, and i was captivated by the inclusion the kenny loggins song "meet me halfway"
Peter Brady was by far the ugliest Brady kid on the "Brady Bunch". I mean, they were all pretty ugly, and the fact that the Brady dad wanted to always take the boys out on overnight camping trips just a tad bit too often, gave me the creeps.
