Yes, please explain.

Joke: I claim I have never belittled anyone and then I belittle you.

You don't have to adopt Yahtzee's mannerisms to be welcomed onto this board. You just have to be anything higher on the food chain than a blathering nincompoop.

In that case I am outside too. I just found this website though the games, I knew no-one (I still don't know all) and I just tried to act as neutral as possible. I still consider myself pretty much outsider.

Anyway, how come all these ZP posts turn out into a flame war?

I'll pretend you didn't mis-spell blithering and just ask why you've suddenly decided that I'm an idiot. Do you just like stirring up trouble? I don't see the point in people like you who just seem to make it their life mission to make everyone else miserable.
P.S. That was a good joke, I was just so much on the defensive after being attacked that I missed it wink.gif

Jesus. If you want to look smart, at least check the dictionary before you make yourself look even more simple-minded than you already have.

blath·er (blāth'ər)
intr.v. blath·ered also bleth·ered, blath·er·ing also bleth·er·ing, blath·ers also bleth·ers

To talk nonsensically.

And if you'd had the sense to check YOUR word...

blith·er (blĭth'ər) Pronunciation Key
intr.v. blith·ered, blith·er·ing, blith·ers
To blather.

I'm not trying to emulate Yahtzee. You just happened to hit on my one pet peeve: don't try to make me look like a feeb while you're making a doofus of yourself. If you're going to correct me, at least be right.

Having said that, I am really looking forward to the Bioshock review. Even if Yahtz didn't like it, it will still be amusing to see what he thinks of the portion of the game that involves killing little girls, and perhaps he'll mention the clown vending machines. They say, "Tell your friends!" when you leave, and it always sounds like, "Kill your friends!" to me.

I don't even care anymore. Lets just leave it behind us and - as you say - look forwared to the Bioshock review. Yes, it should be good.

Alright. I am going to say this once: No one likes someone who corrects other peoples spelling or grammar, unfortunately some of us have lives and have little time to doubt check each one of our posts.

I agree with Cob; I might be a grammar stickler, but even I don't like having every little itsy-weensy letter I type corrected... dry.gif

ARGH! (And for the record, I was thinking of commonly known phrase "blithering idiot" and was really pissed off at the time by many things. This was making it worse so I just sort of let it out - badly!)

D'you think he'll comment on the orchestral music? It's been getting a lot of hype on it's own.

Sorry to interrupt your regular programmation but we've a breaking news, ZP was mentionned on Slashdot.

I, for one, welcome our new ZP loving, Yahtz's games ignoring overlords.

You can now go back to your regular session of flaming anyone with less than 20 posts until the next game is released.

Do you think that Yahtzee was inspired by Victor Lewis Smith and Charlie Brooker? I can see it, especially with Charlie Brooker but I don't know if they just have a similar style or if Yahtzee was inspired by them.

I don't think Yahtzee's making aother game... or did I miss that?

I'd search but you try typing in "new game" in the search box and see what you get.

I think he is. He has mentioned it in IRC.
