I just spent almost all of my dividend earnings on more ChefElf stock, while it's falling.

Oh, it's on the rise again. Oh well. Yay stock!

I learned an important lesson. To never put my money on chances like these. I practiced learning that lesson from bootsales.

I learned from this simulation that if you invest enough money early enough, you'll be paid back a-million-fold in no time.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Why cant I buy the shares!? I had a perfect plan! A perfect plan for world domination and now it has been shattered by the greedy and obnoxious chef with the big ears and funny hat!

Seriously though Chefelf, make more stocks available to me… I mean the public.

Sorry, I have no control over how many stocks are available. No more than anyone else. If people sell stocks they'll be available.

I know this isn't the place for this, but the expression is "The die is cast." It means a chance has been taken, an irrevocable decision has been made and all we can do now is see what the outcome will be. Caesar is alleged to have said it when he took his army across the Rubicon.
"I had a lot of different ideas. At one point, Luke, Leia and Ben were all going to be little people, and we did screen tests to see if we could do that." -George Lucas, in STAR WARS: the Annotated Screenplays (p197).

And what I said just became true: Chefelf stocks dropped from 305.19 to 0.01 in a second.

The math system behind it is just moronic.

Yay, it's cheap! Time to buy more!

Edit: Oh. Crap. I can't buy anymore because none are available to share? How the hell does this thing actually calculate value of stocks?! How can every stock available be owned, but the stock be considered worthless?

Like gambling you fell for it. Enticements on doing well at first then you start to loose and some people can't quit the temptations of giving up the addiction ruled by someone else.

It's pretend money, Dee; so it's not a bad thing.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

I know I know I know it's pretend. I would still be disappointed if I did such a pretentious thing with money. I predicted this was going to happen in the way I thought and as of now I am right. But might be wrong tomorrow.
