@bond: I'm not normally a rude person, nor do I usually mind trolls.

But about half of all posts in this fullyramblomatic forum are absolutely useless, and about 99% of those are yours. Most of the remaining useless posts are replying to you.

So why bother replying? If Bond hasn’t gotten a clue so far then he will never get a clue. Almost everyone on this forum has already told him about his habit. It is obvious that you and other n00bs like you are just hopping onto the anti-Bond bandwagon for forum popularity. Seriously though guys; if you cant stand Bond then put him on ignore.

I DO have him on ignore.

I'm aiming for that to be everyone's default setting. See earlier posts.

edit: the part you quoted is merely an explanation as to why he should be treated differently from other trolls.

I already beat you to it. So did AdamM and (no doubt) about half the forum.

I don't actually. I think that would cause more problems than it solves.

There's still people replying to him, which is causing/allowing him to post more often.
Therefore, there are still people who need to put him on ignore.
Since they haven't yet, we should assume that they won't, willingly.

For the rest of us, having him on default ignore would be a wonderful time-saving function.

Another solution would be a change such that the ignore function cuts out his posts entirely. Instead of simply re-writing his messages to read that "you have this person on ignore . . .".
Either way, all I do is scroll past posts he makes.

(if there is a function to do that already, I haven't found it yet)
