I agree entirely. I know I am prone to the occasional typo, missed word, or poorly worded sentence. However, I try to make my communications with the world as legible as possible.

Basically, i don't do this:

"yer b4 we left i hav neva been as close wiv any1 b4 lol but it mnade it harder wen she went away lol na i think u nd her will be all good i dnt even no wats happened but i no she luvz u just talk 2 her wen she gets bk!"

(Taken from a MySpace page, copied and pasted EXACTLY as-is.)

I don't think much of this person.

Whoever you just quoted... I hate that person already.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

Is anyone else as prone to mispronounciations as I am? I used to call Hiawatha "HE-awatha", and once referred to the insurance company Amica as "AM-ica"! laugh.gif

That person could probably write a sonnet that would blow away even Shakespeare, and I am dead serious.

That's why I could never like text messaging on a cell phone. I'd have no idea what anyone was saying!

My "txt spk" is notoriously close to proper english. I'll admit to shortening any word that ends 'ing' to 'in', and a few very minor abbreviations, but grammar and spelling is as close as possible.

That's all good, then; I've never really liked "txt spk" anyway... wink.gif

That is why I say Silly Message Shortened.

I don't like how business are starting to use shortening in their names.

For example Cars2U.

If I had a salesperson advertising stuff to me with shortened spelling in the name I'd ask them to spell correctly and walk away.

Ah, I've just got "wy2g".
That's made me laugh a little more than it should sensibly have done.

I hate txt language.

I asked a girl out and she responded like that quote up there and I never called back.
