David, I think you're talking about Command & Conquer Renegade...
Should try that, but from what I remember about it, it was kind of crap-to-medium...

Renegade... so... so bad. Don't, for your own sake. I got it as part of the C&C 10th Anniversiary pack. It's extremely linear (moreso than most single player FPSes) and the story is laughable. It feels like they tried to make some sort of pulp action movie into the C&C universe with Duke Nukem-esque one-liners.
As far as a video game mashup... I think I'd like to see an RTS with a Super Robot Wars flavor. Especially the franchise ones with Gundam, Nadesico, Mazinger, Eva, etc. Would be a new twist on the series.

Mario Kart and Street Fighter: See M. Bison beat the crap out of Mario! YAY!
so, whats your idea exactly? is it more of a racing game where you are thrashing up other drivers like in twisted metal?
or a fighting game that features both mario characters & street fighter characters like in marvel vs. capcom?
Peter Brady was by far the ugliest Brady kid on the "Brady Bunch". I mean, they were all pretty ugly, and the fact that the Brady dad wanted to always take the boys out on overnight camping trips just a tad bit too often, gave me the creeps.

So... basically you're looking for a zombie-busting horror RPG. I think there's plenty enough of that. Look for games made with RPG Maker 2000/2003/XP.
rpg maker? yeeeccchhh...youve got to be kidding me. no,..i was referring to something a lot more in depth. think of nightmare creatures II, but with surrealistical graphics and intuitive gameplay to keep you on the edge of your seat.
god of war, but with a house of the dead touch and much darker premise and more fast-paced action.
ultra fast like a really good zombie style fps, but still keeping it as being an rpg though, where you can upgrade your character, travel to different lands, etc.
the world is a game of players & pawns with everyone striving to be the king

id like to see a role playing game that incorporates the gameplay mechanics of final fantasy with the environments of house of the dead.
yeeeaahhh!!!
yeeeaahhh!!!
Hahaha! A HOTD with a GOOD story and mediocre voice actors? This I gotta see!

Funny you mention it. MK: Armageddon on the Wii included Motor Kombat. It had characters from MK racing each other with character specific power ups. It wasn't that great, but along the same lines.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree here. Take into account, I'm not an FPS fan by any stretch of the word. So was it linear? Sure, but so are most FPS games as far as I can see. But the atmosphere was what it was about. Runninng around the battlefield, taking out NOD buggies with rocket launchers, sidestepping the tiberium fields, and infiltrating the buildings that we've come to know and love. And that was just the single player. In multiplayer they have a mode called C&C which did it's best to simulate a real C&C battle with your characters playing as the ground troops. I played it with friends at a LAN a few Wintereenmas' back and we had a great time.

So not so much an RPG as a game with stats? Sorry, it's just a personal gripe of mine. Stats do not an RPG make.
The Green Knight, SimeSublime the Puffinesque, liker of chips and hunter of gnomes.
JM's official press secretary, scientific advisor, diplomat and apparent antagonist?

No sir,.not just stats but all the wonderful play mechanics and rich storyline that accounts for some of the best rpgs out there, coupled with intense fps action.
quite literally, the best of both worlds.
