Ive just got back from seeing the new high-packed action thriller in cinemas..."Save the Last Danc..errr,...The Bourne Ultimatum" starring Matthew Damon and Julia Stiles.

you remember Julia Stiles? right? that cute hip dancing chick from Save the Last Dance?..well, shes not dancing in this movie, but she might as well be,.because she isnt acting much worth anything.

Matt Demon pretty much steals the screen, and it really isnt known why Julia was even cast...but Im glad a more wooden actress wasnt cast, such as Natalie Portman.

Well that's that mystery solved.

Well lets get back into the 'mystery machine' and head on down to that abandoned amusement park.

Bourne is such a ninja. and Julia was a bit wooden, but I thought that could be justified by the fact that she's this serious CIA person whose life is all in danger and stuff. I don't think that took away from the movie so much.

Zoinks! A G-g-g-g-g-g-ghost!

I've only seen the first movie and wouldn't care to see any of the others, but James Bond does not have exclusive rights to action heroes with the initial J. B. I just don't think it's a reference at all. Bourne isn't a secret agent at the moment, nor is he dashing or trying to save the world or any other parallel that I can think of to Bond except they have the same initials and blow things up. *shrug* Are these last two movies worthwhile at all?

Well, they've both got horribly shaky camera setups, but the plots are good... blush.gif

What are those guys in Hollywood on right now? I mean, there's a good movie made like 20-25 years ago, and they remake it with shitty actors in a more modern environment. Why? Why don't they just use one of their own ideas, instead of screwing up the good old flicks with remakes that don't do them justice?

Oh, but see, they changed the plots of the Matt Damon movies to reflect more modern tastes. So, in essence, it's not really a remake at all... wink.gif
