Heh, Emos are funny. Just look at them! Silly Emos. 
However, it's far from funny when you're actually going through angst (and I don't mean that superficial act put on because it's just so cool, I mean the, "the chemicals in my body are all fucked up and making me emotionally unstable for prolonged periods of time instead of just a couple days a month and pleasepleasepleasegodwhywon'ttheyjustleavemealone?!" sort of angst). Put it this way: it's a damn good thing I've always been utterly petrified of physical pain and bodily mutilation, or I would have been dead by fifteen. And having no religion really works wonders for reinforcing that self-preservation instinct.
Anyway...
