Yes, forum MUD bots are cool. I've tried playing with one once.

He wasn't a bot.

[17:54:16] [@Gekku] Hmm
[17:54:20] [@Gekku] Yet again my employer fails.
[17:54:50] [@Gekku] "Make an excel about this (url with libraries listed, every city of finland). I want it to have contact, mail, bills and orders."
[17:54:55] [@Gekku] Well... What?
[17:55:24] [@blueskirt] How weird
[17:55:29] [@Gekku] I am not exactly sure WHAT am I supposed to have in that excel file
[17:55:44] [@Gekku] So, as always, I sent him an email with the mentioned question.
[17:55:59] [@blueskirt] "And he fired me!"
[17:56:06] [@Gekku] Now it takes a few days for him to answer it and then he hopefully has forgotten me.
[17:57:58] [@Gekku] Well, some food and then fresh air.
[17:58:11] [@Gekku] Hopefully I don't run into drunken teenagers.
[17:58:31] [@blueskirt] I bet your boss is at that boss-only poker game where he say "My employee is such a failure. I ask him an excel about this (url with libraries listed, every city of finland). I want it to have contact, mail, bills and orders and that little brat dare to ask me questions. -How weird. -You should fire him. I raise by 500 and this pair of wet panties my secretary left me in souvenir. -OooooOOOoooooh!"
[17:59:21] [@RantingHuman] poker?
[17:59:40] [@blueskirt] Did you put "poker" in highlight too? :>

As no-one took the hint, I post this myself. DO NOT never ever again let me wander to the darkest corners of my mind... Stuff like this lurks there...

QUOTE
[01:44:47] [@Gekko] So, what has been going on here lately
[01:45:17] [@Gekko] If no other chatter appears, I'd like to talk about "paths of life"
[01:45:32] [+Dritz] Hey, Gekko.
[01:45:46] [@Gekko] I just started thinking here on my rocking chair what would have happened if I didn't found this channel
[01:46:01] [+Dritz] What, I didn't count as other chatter?
[01:46:34] [@Gekko] First of all, I would have most likely have had way more boring life until now. Or maybe I would have connected myself to some other group of people
[01:46:42] [@Gekko] Shh, I am talking. Needed a nice starting line
[01:47:19] [@Gekko] But now that I have grown to like you guys, I find it sad that I might have never read that ad on Mikrobitti and not found FullyRamblomatic
[01:47:41] [@Gekko] I don't know what would have filled my life.
[01:47:57] [@Gekko] And here I got the idea of destiny and free choice
[01:48:49] [@Gekko] This theory thingy goes all the way to the thing called "time", but let's just say that I created two possibilitys when reading that magazine back then.
[01:49:12] [@Gekko] In one, I am sitting here making a script for AGS game.
[01:49:18] [@Gekko] In one, where would I be?
[01:49:45] [@Gekko] Would I be reading a book in my bed? Would I be in some hardcore game dev group? Would I be in corner, crying over loneliness?
[01:49:52] [@Gekko] lonelyness*
[01:50:39] [@Gekko] This question makes me amazed on the fact that a "choice" affects HELL load of things
[01:51:20] [@Gekko] Let's say that I did not read the magazine and in the other "now" I would be working with some Source engine mod team, let's say Black Widow games for example.
[01:51:29] [@Gekko] As I chose this path, how is the team now?
[01:52:12] [@Gekko] Did I possibly cause the death of the team by not entering it on the time of need, or did I save it by not ruining their project+
[01:52:18] [@Gekko] Did I make any difference at all with my choise?
[01:52:20] [@Gekko] choice*
[01:53:06] [@Gekko] Of course, every time unit we live we change the world around us
[01:53:17] [@Gekko] But, some decisions just cause really devastating effects
[01:53:49] [@Gekko] When I choose to do one really big swing in my rocking chair, I fall to the floor.
[01:53:56] [@Gekko] This doesn't really affect anything.
[01:54:12] [@Gekko] But when I decided to read that magazine, it changed my life pretty much
[01:54:47] [@Gekko] The "free-choice" is a dangerous and very powerful tool to create future
[01:55:35] [@Gekko] Of course, we do important choices very often (picking schools, going to work and so), but things as small as reading a magazine can lead to lots of things
[01:56:58] [@Gekko] When I read that magazine, the game engine of our world set up a new setting for me: I had new choices to do. And as I chose to read the forums on the time someone highlighted me on the IRC channel of Neocron, I made the choice of creating a topic aboout IRC channel.
[01:57:12] [@Gekko] What have I gained from that choice?
[01:57:45] [@Gekko] I have played one of my best RPGs, been developing a AGS game, learnt to do some music
[01:58:04] [@Gekko] Hm, I am all confused!
[01:58:12] [@Gekko] I think I just broke my brain
[01:58:30] [@Gekko] Time sure is mysterious thing
[01:58:46] [@Gekko] Also, lots of things happen when we type here...
[01:59:41] [@Gekko] When I asked for some old link someone pasted earier, the guy who chooses to help me opens the webpage and might notice and ad of a new web comic or something, leading to kabillion other choices
[01:59:48] [@Gekko] So life is just a chian of choices
[02:00:02] [@Gekko] chain, even
02:00:39] [@Gekko] Toilet time
[02:01:17] [+Dritz] Try not to make any life-altering choices in there.
[02:02:08] [@Gekko] Yes, how true it is
[02:02:15] [@Gekko] This choice teached me a new thing
[02:02:35] [@Gekko] the wireless headphones have really good range as I can move through 2 walls and still listen to the music from this computer
[02:02:57] [+Dritz] Wow.
[02:02:58] [@Gekko] I think I shall now use this "choice" as my life's central philosophy...
[02:03:13] [@Gekko] I find it pretty much bullet proof
[02:03:58] [@Gekko] Hm, to add something, I just got the idea
[02:04:00] [+Dritz] Woah, AoT is linked on the Weebl's Stuff homepage.
[02:04:33] [@Gekko] Making a choice makes the universe give you new alien forces to affect your life
[02:04:55] [@Gekko] I think that sums up the great philosophy of free-choice
[02:09:21] [@Gekko] Choiceology has been founded
[02:09:41] [+Dritz] Nooo! Don't be a scientologist knockoff, you'll ruin your life!
[02:10:02] [@Gekko] It is not religion
[02:10:07] [@Gekko] It is a way to look at life
[02:10:14] • @Gekko think he sounds like a hippie now
[02:10:31] [+Dritz] Mmm, more like a Zen buddhist or something.
[02:10:36] [@Gekko] hm
[02:10:38] [@Gekko] True
[02:10:42] [+Dritz] Also:
[02:10:44] [+Dritz] http://www.exteel.com/us/ looks cool.
[02:10:46] [+Dritz] Giant robot MMO!
[02:11:02] [+Dritz] At least I think it's an MMO.
[02:11:40] [@Gekko] Gundams!
[02:12:05] [+Dritz] Wanna try it with me, Gekko?
[02:12:12] [+Dritz] It might change your life! >.>
[02:12:16] [@Gekko] Hehe =)
[02:12:24] [@Gekko] Yes, but this media machine isn't all mighty
[02:12:26] [@Gekko] Is it big
[02:12:31] [+Dritz] Ah.
[02:12:46] • @Gekko made a choice of getting snack while on toilet, so he's eating now and has hard time on browsing net
[02:20:19] • Quit: (OraticusOfBorg) (~OraticusO@c-24-118-143-185.hsd1.mn.comcast.net) (Read error: Connection reset by peer)
[02:20:59] • @blueskirt is a bit scared at Gekko's very looooong monologue
[02:21:14] • @Gekko is scared too

It was spelt loneliness, so you were right the first time... Also I can't open your "choicelogy" rtf either. But I'm intrigued, and slightly glad I keep my monologues inside my head, because otherwise I might become Tom Cruise... "Scientology" *shudders*...
Well, that whole post in response to your monologue was entirely pointless... I don't think I'll bother next time...

This thing you call 'free choice' sounds interesting. Did you get it out of a magazine or see it on a T.V?
If not, I'm willing to sign over my soul that I don't believe exists.

I got it from an area in my brain I call "The dark corners of my mind." All my cool monologies and theories are there, but it seems that every time I enter the area, I lose some of my intelligent. I've noticed that my memory is shrinking! Scary! :<

Anyway, it just came up in my mind. I am sort of one of those guys who easily get carried away, and that way I often hit to things like this. However, just like I thought, someone already had this mentioned. It's called the 6th dimension.

Here's a video I got a link to after posting my .rtf to some forum.

[20:57] <Gobbly> You guys are fucking lunatics.

There, that was my first line upon returning to the channel after receiving numerous entreaties begging me to do so.

Just so you know, I consider ALL of you as my fan-girls now - Miss Arien will certainly show you around and introduce you to your new duties as such. The exact fan-girl hierachy is rather loose right now, so you'd better prepare to come up with something pleasing upon my next visit. Club sandwiches are still out, blame Oraticus.
