What's this "normal people" that everyone keeps talking about?

Why use AIM when IRC chatrooms have more features, don't require so powerful programs (this might not be true) and are more flexible. In case you have problems, try checking the FAQ page of the software you use. Normally such problems occur because of NAT or firewall issues.

And yes, Arien, I forgot you. I'm so sorry. I shall bang my head to a mug of jello seven times a day for three weeks as a punishment.
