Gotcha attention!
Well, I have been reading these forums for a few months now and I must say this community is very mature, but can still be really... interesting in it's own way. Currently this forum is #1 in my Opera index screen and I check the forums many times a day (I spend a lot time at computer and I have no life. Enough of that matter for now). I checked some older topics while searching for the topic containing the mystery of Yathzee's avatar and I can see some sort of... transformation!
Anyway, all I want to do is congratulate you, FullyRamblomatic community. These forums have comedy and serious talk in good ratio and the people are interesting (from different cultures, if I am correct) and friendly. Grats, FullyRamblomatic community!

Glad that you enjoy it here, even if we're in one of those boring period of the forum. Wait until Yahtzee shows us a screenshot, then it gets frantic. There will be speculations on what is the next game and when it will be released, even the most prude and mature "No, I'm not a fanboy" members let their guard down and get giddy like schoolboys as m0ds slowly takes his time at composing the game's soundtrack.
Then the game is released and everyone here complete it in 3 days at best, and during the next month it's 2-3 full pages of conversations, questionning, analysis and spoilers about the game every single days. Those who bought the Special Editions pulls some "I know the answers" taunting at those who haven't, Nostaw tell us how much he'd rather spend the 5 bucks on a pizza instead of the SE, the fan artists climb down from the mountain and enlighten the rest of us with 3 or 4 amazing serious pictures which then quickly degenerate in dozens of quickly drawn cute and hillarous scribbles. Joy for everyone.
Then it's the calm after the storm, people wonder what will be the next game, if there will have a sequel to the previous one, will we see X characters ever again, the Not Fanboys regain their serious seriousness, the fan artists climb back on the Mount Cloudy in search for inspiration, Cthulhu tucks itself back to bed in his sunken city of R'lyeh and everything slowly get more quiet.
Then it's the void. Slow news days, lasting for months, constantly changing as the days passes, newcommers might be greet during an occasionnal mature or on-topic threads or during a trout slap dueling, and it always seems like it will get worst before it will get any better... until a new screenshot is posted. It's a long wait but it worth it.
That's where we are at currently. So if you like it here right now, you will most likely like the rest.
PS - Opera rocks!

To FFreak3:
Hey, a new member! Welcome to the forums. (shakes hand) Consider them a sanctuary where you are mostly safe from the sheer bulls... factor of internet message boards.

Being banned for overwhelming pretentiousness isn't glory?
Perhaps I should clarify my position:
I make fun of other peoples fanboys because my own fanboys started to take it as a totally awesome thing to receive any sort of derogatory remark from me.
I can't even make a positive comment without it being received as sarcasm. And therefore the ultimate holy.

You're not the only one here who makes fun of the Yahtzee fanboys.
I guess the difference between you and I is that I choose to do it from afar, for fear of speaking directly to one of them. Also because a background check on my earlier days in Yahtzee's forums proves me to be a hypocrite of monumental proportion.

metaphorically: Every other human being but me is pile of sludge unless they make damn good coffee, or recite bad poetry kinda attitude.
Literally: One of these: http://images.google...q...mages&gbv=2
google. It's probably the only friend you have who never answers with veiled sarcasm designed to put you in your place, (which is, of course, quite a ways below them).
And for modt of you, very possibly your only friend.
