As David said, nothing is ready and nothing will be ready soon. I might have something to show at the end of the year, in an optimistic vision.

Here's a little of the story of The Dance of the Axe, for the guys with nothing else to do:

A group of INTERPOL agents is looking for the internationally wanted thief known as "Beret".
After having his phone wired, the International Police finds out that the thief is going to Brazil after the treasure of the Sierrabrava family.

The small town of Monte Vermelho was once ruled by two families: Sierrabrava and Araguassu. Due to political "divergences", the two houses fought against each other for many years. At the end of the strife, the Araguassu won by nearly killing all the Sierrabravas and burning their mansion down.
That was ten years ago.

Some days before dying, Vincente Sierrabrava, patriarch of the family, said to have an "incalculable treasure" hidden somewhere under his mansion. Many say it was just a fib. However, none of those who went there looking for the treasure was ever seen again. The place is now supposed to be haunted.

The INTERPOL agents warn the authorities of the nearby towns and go to Monte Vermelho to ambush and arrest Beret...

A haunted mansion? A backstory involving murder within the ranks of the noble elite? A wanted master thief named after a hat? Is this some kind of joke, I ask you?

No, it's serious. That's why I call it a "Yahtzee-styled" horror story.
And I didn't even tell you about the Tall Woman...

Mind you, we're still waiting for a "comrade citizen" episode with more meat in it.

Ok, the Tall Woman was a joke. The rest is true. I think you're thinking I'm thinking about making a story that's pretty much like de Mythos, but that's a misunderstanding. Although there are some elements "inspired" by the XDAS series, the story itself is completely different. Suffice to say, the mansion was burned ten years before the game starts. And the thief is a bad guy.

The Yahtzee style I said above is a set of characteristics that together can make a terror game great. Like time rupture, flashbacks to the past or to the future, people dying at each ten seconds, an unstoppable killer, etc.

Of course, these are common elements of many terror movies, but the point is that they're all together.

And what's the problem about naming someone after a hat? Yahtzee has a trilby, I have a beret, that's all.

Well, given that "Beret" is used more as a description. I mean, you have terms like "Green Beret" and "Black Beret" used of special military units and all.

No, army people actually WEAR berets - for exemple, the Irish Permanent Defence forces wear black, the Reserve Defences wear green, while the UN soldiers wear blue. But they all wear berets.

Really? I had fully imagined some kind of talking beret as a regimental mascot.

Nostaw, I know it's meant as a tribute sort of thing, but...well...

Let me tell you about this story I'm writing. It's about these midgets who live in a fantasy world, and long ago there was a battle over a hat. This magical hat had the power to rule over all other magical hats, and now there's no way to destroy it but to throw it into the Volcano of Death. Putting the hat on disguises you so that nobody will recognize you, but the terrible owner of the hat could find you once you did.

What?! Does J.R.R. Tolkien have a copyright on small people or magical accessories?

Is that all because of the nickname of the thief? Because my story shows no greater resemblance to any other story I've readed/watched/played/heard so far.

And I'm not tributing anything to anybody.
