Hrm.. I don't get a snazy special title..
I mean.. the brother Redcloud's have one.. Chefelf's Girlfriend has one...
Hrmmm... hm.
I'll have to think of something to make Chefelf give me one!

How about a ranking system that is gender neutral.. like 'Evil Genius' 'Mad Scientest' 'Parinoid Android'... etc.. etc..

I think the titles should utilize the list of prostitute varieties in the original DM's guide (for AD&D; here's where I show my age). I still get a kick out of that thing; I can just imagine Gary Gygax up late with a thesaurus putting together a list of titles that NOBODY, I dare say, has EVER used in all the years since that book's publication.

[I don't have the list in front of me, but it included titles the likes of: Brazen Strumpet; Wanton Wench; Haughty Courtesan; Slovenly Trollop; Saucy Tart; Sly Pimp and (I think) Bold Madame. What effort, when of course, you roll a random city encounter, get "prostitute," and the party's like, "nothing to fight; we keep walking." ]

Anyway, Nate should look that up and we should use that. Otherwise I like the gender-neutral sci-fi idea.

Mike.

Hey, hey, HEY! I like your style, civilian_number_two. That is my favorite idea so far.

My video game theme simply doesn't have enough levels to make it work.

Well,

I found the list. In order, his titles are

Slovenly Trull
Brazen Strumpet
Cheap Trollop
Typical Streetwalker
Saucy Tart
Wanton Wench
Expensive Doxy
Haughty Courtesan
Aged Madam
Sly Pimp
Rich Panderer

I just love that Gygax put effort into distinguishing between a "Brazen Strumpet" and a "Saucy Tart." I mean, I'm not sure I could tell the two apart, but then I've only been to Vegas the one tim, and I wasted some of it watching Penn and Teller.

Wow, that's pretty amazing. I'm going to give this some serious consideration. I wish there was a way to distinguish between guys and dolls now. I guess it wasn't meant to be.

"I'm going to give this some serious consideration."

Then again, if there are any twelve-year-old girls posting here (no offense intended to 12-year-old girls (or boys, but to hell with the boys if there were; tough up you little bastards)) ... I'll start again. If there are any 12-year-old girls posting here, you might receive some undue attention should they proudly say to their moms "I'm just one post away from becoming a cheap trollop." You might have yourself a THREE'S COMPANY situation on your hands.

Blast. You've spotted the one downfall. But I think it would be really interesting if that were to happen. Interesting, like a warehouse full of bug spray catching ablaze.

I agree with sinister grinner! Civilian_number_two is a genius! What's more, his ears are misguided. That people might get the wrong idea is half the fun, like all the dumb attention currently leveled at Grand Theft Auto.

Dear Administrator,

I have noticed that there is something amiss with the "User Ranks" system. I should now already be a mini-boss, yet I am still only a "henchman." I have noticed that others, like say Despondent, have also not undergone name changes while having posted enough to do so (Despondent is still a "Rookie," when that level has already been changed to "Sprite," and when he has already earned enough for "Henchman").

This is very troubling. I request that you send me free products as soon as possible.

(I was a Rookie before this post yet had 25 posts...)

Or maybe it doesn't change right away?

whatever..

Oh yeah, sorry guys I changed it up a little bit. I won't post all the boring details but it's just a little different. Sorry about that.
