First Asterisk & Obelisk (the one with R.Benigni) movie should not even exist. Somebody messed up that movie really bad. It's like the Star Wars prequels, it's that bad.

But the new one.. "Mission Cleopatre" is a faithfull recreation of the comics. Even the parts that were changed/added/adapted from the book are written by Uderzo (the original writter for A&O).

Granted , I was a big fan of A&O comics, so you might call me biased, but this moive has got to be the funiest movie of all times.

Some of the humor could be lost in the translation to English, so if you know a bit of french try to get the original in French.. if not, get it w/ English subtitles. You will not regret the 1.5 hours spent on this move... guaranteed. Watch this movie !
