Fallout 3 and Sam & Max 2 is what pops in my mind right now. Although I've heard that Fallout 3 was restarted by Bethesda Softworks and should be ready by the fall of 2008.

The Fallout 3 that was cancelled was codenamed Van Buren and it was canned due to Black Isle. going under. It was very close to completion too. What a shame.

Let's see, Star Fox 2 was cancelled, So was Earthbound 64, (which may be a good thing), and the one that really pisses me off, Katamari for the DS. And, oh yeah, Full Throttle 2: Hell on Wheels, They even made a teaser video for that one. Same with SimsVille, which I saw a loooong time ago while installing Sim City 3000. I think they turned that one into the Sims.

I remember hearing Nintendo were making this game called Paper Mario which sounded interesting, so I saved up my money for it. Then it never appeared, so I assumed it was cancelled. Then when PM: Thousand Year Door came out I found out the first game was just never released in PAL regions. What a gyp.

Also, whatever happened to Starcraft: Ghost? It looks like Starcraft 2 will be released before it.

Yeah, that should be good. They seem to be treating the series well enough.

Almost all the ideas in Star Fox 2 were used in later sequels, Earthbound 64 was released on the GBA as Mother 3 (only in Japan), Katamari DS would really piss me off if I had a DS, Hell on Wheels was probably a little too action-based anyway, and SimsVille... uh, I really don't have anything even remotely interesting to say about that.

...I'm pretty sure it was released here. And Wikipedia seems to agree. Maybe it just never made it to Australia?

Sam & max moved to episodic content available via GameFly (and soon Steam and it's own boxed content).

DNF is technically in development still and they've been releasing screens (1 at a time) over the past 6 months. Highly doubt we'll see it though.

you will notice in that photo, that Snake's eyepatch is on the wrong eye. This is due to it either being a reversed photo from the original, or an artist's error.

How has nobody mentioned Crusader: No Mercy or Crusader 2 from Origin?

No Remorse and No Regret were superb games, still play better than a lot of modern shoot-em-ups.
