what do you think are the best star wars video games for any system? (atari 2600, nes, snes, n64,gamecube, wii, genesis, dreamcast, xbox, xbox360, psone/psx, ps2. ps3, psp, gameboy/advance,ds, saturn, etc)

i havent played everything, but i have played quite a few star wars video games, and i feel some of the best ones ive played are:

lego star wars II (original trilogy) (Ps2)

Revenge of the Sith (ps2)

battlefront (ps2)

How can you ignore Knights of the Old Republic (PC)? That is the single best Star Wars game ever created (IMHO). I also quite like KotOR 2 (PC), despite it's problems. Also great is Republic Commando (PC).
The Green Knight, SimeSublime the Puffinesque, liker of chips and hunter of gnomes.

Dark Forces was a Star Wars game that was an FPS that ran on a modified Doom engine. Not a bad game.

Tie Fighter
X-Wing
Knights Of The Old Republic
X-Wing Alliance
Rebellion

(yes, in that order)
I know that you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you read is not what I meant.

You CANNOT beat Battlefront II for its sheer awesomeness. Also, you can play as Yoda! C'mon, now who wouldn't want to do that...? biggrin.gif

TIE Fighter was too awesome. It came with a really in depth booklet that 100ish pages of technical data and a story about an Imperial Pilot. Plus... TIE Defenders. C'mon.

PC, originally DOS compatible. I believe you should be able to scrounge up a Win98 copy of X-Wing vs TIE Fighter. Would be an interesting find. Be sure to have a joystick.
