I'm getting married (2nd time) this Saturday (1PM , EST). She's a great girl and a sweet lady. Met her on a Christian dating website 15 months ago, and we've been dating since April of 06. It's going to be so great this time; she's considerate and kind and thoughtful. And I'm grateful. I enjoyed married life before, and that relationship was Awful. But God Bless it that's over.

I didn't want to steal Chef's thunder, though this has been in the works since March, so I haven't mentioned it. Regrettably, we won't be honeymooning in Europe, but it will be a fine life, as my quality of life has risen with each of dozens of weekend visits. We really do love each other, and that's worth sharing. She'll be moving to Birmingham, AL from Georgia, and she's a special needs Elementary teacher so she has lots of patience with me. Yes, we're planning to reproduce. I'll post some pictures soon.

Well, let me be the first to chime in with a "Congratulations, mate!" Hope you two are very happy together.

Its been a good year for proposals here this year, first the big H, then the Big C, now the big D too. And we've still got six months to go, in case anyone else wants a go...

Huzzah and congratulations, Despondent! I'd say I hope you two will be very happy together, but from the sound of it you already are very happy together! So, in that case, I hope you will be even happier together!

Well that's good but previously how can you enjoy the marriage if the relationship was awful?

Me, I couldn't cope breaking up in that.

Technically, I was engaged in 2006, not 2007, so your statement is false.
FAIL.

Also, congratulations Despondent. Best of luck to both of you, and I hope everything works out better for you this time 'round. smile.gif

Pfft. You people and your wacky mixed-up clocks and calendars. It's obvious that each year starts and ends in mid-August, and each day has between twenty-seven and thirty hours in it.

Honestly, how do you people function? tongue.gif
