I take forever to make my points. Any one can feel free to debunk these points, I'll work on my arguement in the mean time.

Kosovo was the heart of Serbia for centuries.

Milosevic was tried as an ethnic cleanser, yet there is scant evidence supporting this (mass graves for instance) Furthermore almost all the evidence that supports the mass killings is entirely from one source, Albanians. Unfortunatley for them, people have been challenging this claim and slowly but surely the truth is surfacing. Albanian reports counter the lack of mass graves by claiming the Serbian forces exhumed the bodies and buried them in individual graves. This claim has been invalidated by the FBI and European forensic teams working under the auspices of the Hague Tribunal.

Albanian resistance have killed and kidnapped more Serbians during 'peace time' than vice versa.

Serbia has been viewed as a nationalistic force yet never went beyond their borders and whose only crime is fighting a resistance movement.

Be back with a full argument.

An excellent article called "Kosovo: Fools Rush In" by William Lind.

I was incorrect before. I stated that Obama supported Kosovo independence. As it turns out he is for more talks and an agreement from both sides.

Letter from Obama.

There is nothing to agree on, Cobnat. Obama's 'peacetalk' banter is little more than cliche. Trying to be even handed at this point is futile, 'too far gone' better describes the relationship between these two people.

Serbia solved the problem during the late 90's with a crack down on the KLA. A large magnitue of Albanians fled the land (not forced) and Serbia had rule. In response, Billy boy Clinton decided to bomb Belgrade, for two months mind you, which forced Serbian froces to recoil and thus enabling Albanians to march right back into Kosovo to reclaim majority and later claim sovereignty.

Noam Chomsky on a related matter

Now the term genocide, as applied to Kosovo is an insult to the victims of Hitler. In fact, it's revisionist to an extreme. If this is genocide, then there is genocide going on all over the world. And Bill Clinton is decisively implementing a lot of it. If this is genocide, then what do you call what is happening in the southeast of Turkey? The number of refugees there is huge, it's already reached about half the level of Palestinians expelled from Palestine.

If it increases further, it may reach the number of refugees in Colombia, where the number of people killed every year by the army and paramilitary groups armed and trained by the United States is approximately the same as the number of people killed in Kosovo last year.
