So only people who can do something better are allowed to criticize? That's preposterous.

That wasn't what I meant. You did say however, that you came up with similar plots at the age of 13 or 14, which implies that whatever stories you are coming up with now are better. Id est, you can do better.

Fighting on the net is still like competing in the Special Olympics - even if you win, you're still retarded.

Chap doesn't like the XDaS series - big deal, his loss. He played in a shit order, but in fairness 6DaS didn't cut it whether you had followed the series or not.

No offense Yahtz, just my view - and twas still a fine game in the grand scheme of things. Just not up to the other games standards.

I was thinking the same thing last night when pressed the reply button, then I wanted to edit but it was too late. Should have stopped to reply after the 1st message quite frankly.

I enjoy in the XDays series that it's getting better with each game (if you play it as it's intended to).
The story gets bigger, more epical with each episode.

In my opinion, 6DaS is a very unstable part of the series, because it's created mostly to tie all the loose ends left by the other games and end the series.

If you don't play the other games before 6DaS you don't get many smaller/or bigger thing in the game's plot. Like the Prince's story or why does the skeleton in the store room wears a grey anorak.

This little things definitely makes 6DaS better and more elaborated.

Well, I'm not fussed on things getting bigger. I mean "It was all due to some uber-powerful thing intent on destroying the world that we didn't know about until know, whose name has four letters and begins with C" tends to be a bit wince inducing, IMHO.

And I was referring to "C'tan"

No, he's just tricked the Order to help him open the bridging portal.

Said twist is what differentiates this story from the aforementioned demon-trying-to-take-over-the-world plot, by the way.

So you are saying I have to play the WHOLE series in your FANCY proper way so I could say the plot in 5 Days a Stranger doesn't hold water? I repeat. The police can't get in the house?!?! For days?!?

Anyway, I'm done. It's not like I wanted to debate with the fans of the series.

No, they cannot. If played in a proper order, you would've realized that a much higher power had overtaken the house and caused it to be completely locked up - no way in, or out, for any involved.

Thank you for your time.

I got that. Shees, I'm not brain-dead. My point is...What would police do if they found a house in which they can't enter for 5 days? And what kind of media frenzy would be created around this phenomenon in real world? Imagine. And on what exactly way they would be blocked? How was that imagined in the game? Nothing is elaborated on this.

The better, more intelligent way to set up the plot would be by putting the house in some time loop or something, so that for the outside world these 5 days would be few hours.
